🐾 Meet Kano – The Puggy Wow Wow! 🐾 Hi there! My name is Kano, and yes... I know that's not how you spell Chihuahua. But I like to think I'm a Puggy Wow Wow! 😄 Technically, I'm what's called a "Chug"—a Pug/Chihuahua mix—but I think "Puggy Wow Wow" has a much nicer ring to it! I'm just 4 months old and weigh about 10 pounds, so I'll likely stay under 25 pounds when I'm all grown up... unless you keep sharing your snacks. (I won't complain—I consider myself quite the foodie!) Not long ago, I had a little makeover. I used to have trouble breathing because of my tiny nose, but I recently had surgery to help me breathe so much better. My rescue friends call it my "nose job," and let me tell you... I feel fantastic! Now I can run zoomies around the yard like a little rocket. While I was at the vet, I also got neutered, so I'm all set for my forever family. I'm a happy, social little guy who loves kids, other dogs, cats, and just about everyone I meet. I'm learning my leash manners, and my foster family says I'm incredibly smart. I figured out the doggy door in just one day and I'm almost completely house-trained because I know exactly when it's time to head outside. After a fun play session, my favorite place is curled up next to my people. Whether we're going for walks, exploring the neighborhood, or spending a quiet evening on the couch, I'm happiest just being with my family. I'm looking for someone who will laugh at my silly antics, spoil me with belly rubs, and love me forever. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. Since arriving at the rescue, Gus has shown very little anxiety and has settled in nicely. Derp was removed from a neglectful situation with several other dogs. They all had horrible demodectic mange and took quite some time to get cleared up. Derp still has some thin spots but I believe at this point he's reached his hair growth potential. This guy has the absolute best and most hilarious personality. When no one came to claim them, we knew we had to bring them into rescue. At 25 pounds each, these adorable boys have the sweetest, smuggest little faces, perfect curly tails, and personalities to match. Friendly, happy, and full of charm, Brennan and Dale are ready to steal hearts throughout the Pacific Northwest. Foster Profile: Dale is a very happy and confident guy! He is playful with other dogs, delighted to meet adults and very gentle with kids. He has puppy energy and jumps up with excitement (we are working on that) but he will also settle down with you for a snooze on the couch. Dale likes his stuffies and tug toys too! He is quiet in his crate all night, and appears to be housetrained. He is cordial, approachable and would fit in with many types of homes and families.
