Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Emmy! Emmy is a 2-year-old, 17 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This adorable little girl is full of personality from her cute underbite to her curly tail, she’s impossible not to fall in love with! Emmy is sweet, goofy, and playful with a fun, energetic spirit. She loves other dogs, enjoys being around people, and is always ready for the next adventure. Walks, outings, weekend excursions ~ she’s happiest when she’s out and about with her humans. She would love a home with another dog to play with and help keep her well-socialized, but she could also thrive as an only dog as long as her family is committed to giving her regular doggy playdates and continued social opportunities. If you’re looking for a spunky, social little sidekick with endless charm and a permanent smile, Emmy might just be your girl! Emmy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hardy! Hardy is a 6-year-old, 18 lb Pug who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter, and he is every bit the classic, lovable pug you could hope for! Sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming, Hardy has a big personality packed into a small, squishy body. He loves being carried, soaking up attention from his people, and showing off his silly side. He’s bouncy, playful, and always ready to make you laugh ~ truly your typical happy, goofy pug! Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. He enjoys going on walks and little adventures and would love adopters who include him in their daily activities. Because Hardy is a flat-faced breed, he will do best in a home with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed experience or adopters who understand his specific needs, including monitoring exercise, temperature, and overall health. Hardy is ready to bring laughs, cuddles, and plenty of pug charm to the right home ~ all he’s missing is his forever family! Hardy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Cadillac is a pug puppy. She has a lot of energy, likes to lick, is playful, adapts really quickly if you have other dogs, making progress on potty training. She sleeps through the night and has her own bed. She goes outside the front door in the grass specially in the mornings when waking up and after each meal in the hopes that she’ll learn to potty outside. She has normal pup behavior. She’s good with other dogs and with children. She is food motivated. She is a good addition to the household, and pugs required a lot of love.
-----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Hi, my name is Chachita. I am a calm, sleepy, and very loving older dog who enjoys being close to my person. I like to follow you around the house, nap in cozy spots, and play a little before bedtime. I would love a home where I am treated like the queen of the house, with space to walk comfortably, and someone who is patient and understands that I am a senior dog. When I was found, I was on the sidewalk, covered in flies, surrounded by bigger dogs trying to mount me. I had a skin fungus and severe conjunctivitis, and I could barely see. I am much better now, but I still need daily eye cleaning and drops, as well as dental care and soft food to help with my mouth.I am gentle, grateful, and ready to spend my golden years with someone who will love me every day. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Meet our Last Litter. These puppies represent more than adorable faces they represent our commitment to prevention, responsibility, and thoughtful rescue. They are wonderful, wiggly, and worth doing right. For this litter, we are focusing on homes in Washington, British Columbia, Idaho, and Oregon. We are fortunate to have strong local interest. At the same time, many regions of the country particularly areas like Texas and California are currently overwhelmed with pugs needing homes. If you are willing to travel to adopt, we strongly encourage you to look toward rescues in those areas where adopter support is urgently needed. Rescue is strongest when we step up where the need is greatest. Puppy adopters must: Have a daytime plan. If you work 8+ hours outside the home, you must have a mid-day check-in plan. Puppies cannot attend daycare until fully vaccinated, so someone needs to visit for at least 30 minutes during the day. Be prepared for potty training, socialization, and structure. There will be accidents. There will be interrupted sleep. Consistency and patience are essential. Supervise all interactions with children. Puppies nip, jump, and are learning appropriate behavior. Guidance and supervision are required. Complete spay/neuter through one of our approved Washington clinics. This is financially provided by the rescue, with a deposit retained to ensure completion. Preventing the next accidental litter is central to our mission. We do have a way for you to complete the spay/neuter at your own clinic - but we can talk about that. Have a veterinarian identified. Vaccine boosters must remain on schedule, and ongoing veterinary care is essential. Avoid immediate vacations. The first few weeks are critical bonding and foundation-building time. We love these puppies too much to rush this process. Our goal is not speed it is lifelong success. Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy the forever home he deserves? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua, Coat: Black and White, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventions, preventatives. Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450
