Derp was removed from a neglectful situation with several other dogs. They all had horrible demodectic mange and took quite some time to get cleared up. Derp still has some thin spots but I believe at this point he's reached his hair growth potential. This guy has the absolute best and most hilarious personality. He will have you cracking up constantly!

Animal Information: Brennan and his Dale are one-year-old Pugs who found themselves at the SBC shelter as strays. When no one came to claim them, we knew we had to bring them into rescue. At 25 pounds each, these adorable boys have the sweetest, smuggest little faces, perfect curly tails, and personalities to match. Friendly, happy, and full of charm, Brennan and Dale are ready to steal hearts throughout the Pacific Northwest. Foster Profile:  Meet Brennan. He is the most adorable, goofy, clumsy, and loviest little dude you will ever meet. His primary purpose in life is to be your constant companion. Whether that means enjoying the beautiful summer weather chasing the birds and squirrels or being cozy on the couch. Brennan is potty trained, working on being crate trained, and learning basic commands. He is very people friendly and in true pug form, snores like a freight train. And did I mention he has the cutest snaggle tooth? This handsome pup was found as a stray, and while we don't know much about his past, he's already shown us what a wonderful companion he can be. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a canine friend to romp around with, but he's just as happy relaxing by your side. He's looking for a patient family who will help him learn the ropes of living in a home, including potty training. Because his history is unknown, we aren't sure how he does with children or cats, so slow, supervised introductions would be recommended. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. This gentle boy loves being close to his people and enjoys simply sharing your company. Gus is happiest when he's nearby. He's also fantastic with other dogs. Since arriving at the rescue, Gus has shown very little anxiety and has settled in nicely. Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I know it's easy to fall in love with a cute face, but one of the most important things Evergreen Pug Rescue can do for a dog is give them time. Time to settle in. Time to feel safe. Time to receive any veterinary care they may need. And most importantly, time to learn who they really are. Because while my photos may tell part of my story, they don't tell all of it. Am I a champion cuddler? A toy enthusiast? A professional sunbeam napper? What kind of home will help me thrive? Those are the things my rescuers are still learning. Before the adoption team begins considering applications for me, I'll have my veterinary exam and spend some time letting everyone get to know me a little better. It's not because anyone thinks something is wrongit's simply because the best matches happen when we understand the dog behind the wrinkles. For now, I'm focusing on settling in, enjoying plenty of love and care, and showing my foster family exactly who I am. As my story unfolds, Evergreen Pug Rescue will share updates and let everyone know when I'm ready for the next chapter. Until then, thank you for cheering me on from afar.
