Meet Kiko and Kody! These adorable 8-year-old Rat Terrier brothers came to us after being surrendered to local animal control. They are sweet little guys who love to sit on your lap or shoulders. Kiko is a bit over 10lbs and Kody is a bit under 10lbs. They've done well around the other dogs so far here as well. They also appear housetrained. They're wonderful boys and have quickly become staff and volunteer favorites! Kiko and Kody are a bonded pair and looking for a home together.

Bernie is a young adult boy that is playful, friendly and looking for his forever home!  He is approximately 1-2 years old old and weighs about 15lbs. Foster home update: Bernie is a little shy at first, but, give him a couple of hours and he will be your best friend! He is house trained when kept on a schedule and is also crate trained! He has the cutest little smile with his underbite. He's great with kids and warms up to adults and other dogs. Fetch is his thing, whether it's a ball or anything that squeaks. Sweet and adorable. Anyone would love him as an addition to their family! We recommend training for all our dogs!     Thanks to a  generous donor  Bernie's adoption fee has been reduced to $100 to help him find a home quicker! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. This is incredibly hard to write. My sweet Roxy is 16 years old and a calm, gentle senior girl. She spends most of her days sleeping, waking to go outside to potty, eat, and then return to her cozy nap spot. She is blind and a little hard of hearing due to age, but she is peaceful and not anxious. Due to a housing situation beyond my control, I must move to a rental that does not allow pets. I am heartbroken, but I want her to spend her remaining time in a loving home rather than a shelter. She needs a quiet, compassionate home where she can rest and feel safe. If you can offer a hospice-style home for this sweet girl, please reach out. She deserves warmth and dignity in her final chapter. 💛

Our mama is a tiny little thing — a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell mix weighing just 20 lbs — but we were some BIG babies when we were born! We’re already tipping the scales at around 5 lbs each, so we’ll likely grow into wonderful medium-sized pups. What we may lack in size, we make up for in sweetness. We absolutely love attention and will happily soak up all the cuddles you’re willing to give. Kisses? We’ve got plenty to share! Playtime is one of our favorite times of day. Crinkle toys are at the top of our list (that sound is just too fun!), but honestly, we aren’t picky — if it’s a toy, we’re in! We love to romp, bounce, and then curl up for snuggles once we’ve worn ourselves out. We’re ready to bring love, laughter, and a toy basket full of fun into someone’s life. Are you that someone? Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Winston 🐾 Winston is a 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier / Beagle mix with the sweetest, most soulful eyes and a gentle heart to match. At 28 pounds, he’s the perfect medium size—big enough to enjoy adventures, yet small enough to be an excellent cuddle companion. Winston is initially a bit timid in new situations, but once he feels safe, his loving personality shines. With time and reassurance, he becomes very affectionate and truly enjoys attention. He loves relaxing on the couch, sleeping in bed with his people, and being close to those he trusts. He is mostly house trained and does best with a consistent routine. Winston is good with other dogs and has done well around children who are respectful of his gentle nature. While he hasn’t been formally tested with cats, his calm, easygoing temperament suggests he would likely do fine with proper introductions. Winston loves snacks and takes treats very gently, which perfectly reflects his soft personality. He’s still learning about leash walking and doesn’t love it yet, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can help him build confidence at his own pace using positive reinforcement. He is not crate-trained and currently sleeps on the couch or in bed—comfort and closeness are important to him once he feels secure. Winston is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. Winston’s Perfect Home 🏡 Winston would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands he may need a little time to feel safe and settled. A predictable daily routine will help him continue to build confidence and succeed with house training.
