Wakanda came from a local hoarding situation. Due to this they do require a fenced yard as well as another dog in the home. Wakanda is one of the pups rescued from the Wauconda hoarding case and is just beginning to discover how good life can be. Wakanda tends to warm up more quickly to women and is still learning to trust men. He’s working with a trainer to help build confidence and ease his protective streak. While he’s still figuring things out, his sweet side is shining through more each day. He loves spending time outside, so a securely fenced yard is a must for this curious explorer. He’d do best in a quiet home with older kids who understand that trust takes time. With patience, love, and continued training, Wakanda is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Meet Tina! She is a 2 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.
