Hello there, I'm Bentley, a charming 1-year-and-10-month-old hound/Chinese Shar-Pei mix. I'm on the lookout for a new forever home, as my previous family had to move, and I'm hoping to find a place where I can share my love and playfulness with a caring family.
At 30 lbs, I'm the perfect size for snuggling and playtime adventures. I'm a playful boy who absolutely adores giving kisses and playing fetch - it's one of my favorite pastimes! I sometimes get the zoomies, and I hope you'll join me in my bursts of excitement and joy! Playing and having fun are some of my specialties, and I can't wait to bring laughter and happiness into your home. You can count on me for endless games of fetch in the backyard and plenty of cuddle sessions on the couch.
I used to live with other dogs and children, so I'm well-versed in the art of companionship. While I may be a bit nervous around new people, especially men, with a little time and patience, I warm up and show my sweet and loving nature. I might need a bit of time to adjust, but once I trust you, I promise to be your most loyal friend.
I should mention that I can be a bit uncomfortable with medical handling, but with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, I believe I can learn to feel more at ease. I just need a kind and understanding family who will help me build my confidence in these situations.

Bentley is an All-Star dog! His adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and she will go home with his very own no-pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get her off to a good start! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
