Story
Meet Jimmy – your new favorite little shadow with a tail!  At just 5 months old, Jimmy is already living his best life and is so happy to be here. This sweet boy wakes up every day like it’s the best day ever — because to him, it is! Jimmy is a toy enthusiast and firmly believes that life is better when you always have a ball nearby. Toss it? Amazing. Squeak it? Incredible. Carry it around proudly like a trophy? Absolutely. He’s never met a toy he didn’t love. This smart pup is easy to train and very food motivated, which makes teaching him new tricks both fun and rewarding. Got treats? You’ve got his full attention. He’s already doing great walking on a leash and enjoys his strolls like a little pro. Car rides? No problem — Jimmy settles in nicely and is happy to be your co-pilot. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a playful buddy, but he’d also be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one and only. Jimmy does like to know where his people are — he’s a loyal little guy who enjoys being close and keeping tabs on his favorite humans. If you’re looking for a joyful, toy-loving, easygoing puppy who’s equal parts playful and devoted, Jimmy is ready to roll into your life (probably with a ball in his mouth).      Adoption fee: $525, includes 1st DHPP, deworming, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Coco is a 3-4 yr old girl weighting 28 lbs. Available to go home early march she is finishing up her heartworm treatment. She is spayed, vaccinated, chipped and fully treated for heartworm disease. She is dog friendly, but bossy. Having raised a few litters while in Louisiana she doesn’t tolerate dogs being disrespectful to her and prefers dogs of similar behaviors. House trained and rides well in a car, good on a leash. Does have some prey drive so will need to be trained to live with cats. Fine around kids.

Story
Meet Mars, a 3-year-old bundle of cosmic energy who is ready to orbit around his new forever family! Weighing in at just 13 lbs., this pint-sized explorer proves that the best things really do come in small, high-speed packages.A classic “type B” short rattie, Mars has an “off switch” for down time when he naps on the sofa or in a crate. He is still learning about the world, which includes potty training. Currently he does well on a schedule but still needs patience and consistency. Mars loves toys, but he also loves a recently worn shoe and might run off with it to add to his toy pile. He has mastered “sit” and would love to learn more with plenty of treats.&#226&#128&#139Because Mars has so much spirit, he’d thrive in a home that can keep up with his active lifestyle, take him on adventures, and indulge his youthful curiosity. Even though he likes to be the center of attention, he would be happy with another small canine sibling. He is also fine with kids that would enjoy his silly antics.  &#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139Mars is the perfect blend of 'go-go-go' and 'love-love-love.' His personality can be summed up in three words:&#226&#128&#139Energetic: Whether it's a morning zoomie session or a brisk walk around the block, Mars has a zest for life that is truly infectious.&#226&#128&#139Playful: He never met a ball or toy he didn't like! Mars is always up for a game of fetch or a wrestling match with his favorite plushies.&#226&#128&#139Snuggly: Once the sun sets and the energy levels dip, Mars transforms into a world-class lap warmer. He is a total 'velcro dog' who wants nothing more than to tuck his head under your chin and snooze. To see more pictures of this cutie, visit https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/mars  If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
We will never know Raya’s past, but she came to us from the shelter as a stray with urine stains on her fur and recently healed scars on her head and side. Raya is believed to be around 4 years-old and is probably a mix of rat terrier and chihuahua, now at a good weight of 9.5 lbs.! She had her spay and a small benign mass removed from her left armpit shortly after arriving, and saw specialists to address extreme pain during bowel movements. Finally, in November 2025, she had double knee surgery to correct her painful injuries. Although Raya has healed well she will probably remain a little lame on her right rear leg but that doesn’t stop her at all! She is back to going up and down stairs, can now get up on the sofa by herself, and is even dancing for her breakfast! Although she has mostly done well with the other resident dogs, she has displayed signs of resource-guarding with her crate. These behaviors might be related to the physical scars she has and her experience with other dogs prior to the shelter, so she would do best in a home with no children or dogs. Although she can be a bit barky at people and dogs when out walking, she is very treat-motivated and can easily be redirected. When introduced to the resident cat, Raya did not seem interested. Even though Raya does not ask to go out, she is reliably house-trained on a schedule. Raya is cute as a button, recovered from knee surgery, and is ready to start looking for her forever home. Considering Raya’s past, she would do best in a home where she would get all the attention and not have to share her human(s). You can see more of Raya in her online photo album at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/raya Because of her past injuries and recent surgery, we are looking for a local adopter to be able to meet her and learn more about her! If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
Danica is a small little Toy Fox Terrier with a tender heart and a deep desire to feel safe again. This 2 year old girl who weighs just 9 pounds, was found running scared and lost through a rough neighborhood in rural Tennessee and when no one came forward to claim her, it became clear she was meant to start a new chapter—one where security and love are a given, not a question.    She is the definition of a Velcro baby. Danica wants to be right beside her person, soaking up every moment of closeness she can get. Your lap, your side, the spot right at your feet—that’s where she’s happiest. She does well with cats and seems comfortable around other dogs, but her true favorite will always be her human. Danica is incredibly sweet, a little clingy, and completely honest about her need for reassurance. After the trauma of being lost and the abandonment she’s experienced, who could blame her? She is fully potty trained and thrives when she can form a strong bond with someone who enjoys snuggles, quiet companionship, and being deeply loved. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will choose you every single time, Danica is ready to give her whole heart to the person who gives her a safe place to land.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live, city and state.  This girl is going to make someone so very happy and loved.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 30, 2026, 7:07 pm
