If the lawn is damp, she will do everything in her power to avoid touching it — a level of dramatic commitment that her foster both respects and fears. At home, Gemma is affectionate, loyal, and happiest curled up beside her people enjoying a quiet day indoors. She loves snacks, cuddles, calm environments, and getting your full attention. Her foster says she has the sweetest little whine when she wants more affection, which is often because Gemma firmly believes cuddling is a full-time job. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.
