Story
Please contact Kady Hammer (KadyH@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.He oif the magnificent ears! GRANT NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:   Grant          Best Guess for Breed:     Terrier mix     Best Guess for Age:   7 months as of November 2023        SEX:  Male   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):   26 lbs as of 11/19/23 Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Check out video of this cutie here! https://youtube.com/shorts/fPaHwdxQSnY?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/K1P_Fm8Cdrg   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home. Grant is Looking For:   First, we need to discuss those ears. Aren't they magnificent? They probably can pick up messages from outer space. Now - this cutie is at the tail end of puppyhood and wants what all puppies want - play time and snuggles! He has all that awesome young-dog energy for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures his new humans can dream up, and he wants to make new pup and people pals along the way. He hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and wants to explore it all! Mountains, beaches, pet shops to see all the toys - yes, please! But most of all, he wants to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes, lots of tail wags, and loyal companionship for all his days.  What do you say? Does Grant get to grow up with you? Are those ears the one you can see yourself waking up to every morning for many, many mornings to come? What My Foster Says About Me: Grant has been staying with us for over a week now. He quickly adjusted to our routine and instantly became friends with my husband, our dog and even the neighbors and their dogs. He continues to do great and is a very good boy. Still no potty accidents and is doing great in a crate. We went to couple dog parks and he did awesome. A big zoomer! he wants to befriend with everyone (people and dogs). Toys and peanut butter are his fave and can keep him occupied for a very long time. He is an energetic pup and after a long walk or a playtime he enjoys cuddles and snuggles with us or his foster brother. Very curious guy so sometimes pulls a bit on the leash as he wants to explore and introduce himself to everyone. Wonderful puppy that deserves a loving family and lots of attention. We will all miss him dearly once he gets adopted as he grew very close to our hearts in a short period of time. Message from Grant: Hi, bring peanut butter, treatos and toys. Thanks TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Story
Milly is a wild and crazy chick! Found as a stray, she was brought to the rescue where she has been thriving. She absolutely loves to play with all the dogs and cats so if you have another playful dog, that would be awesome. She is very high energy and a nice size fenced yard is our preference for her. She is approximately 15 months so still a pup really. She is crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, heart worm negative, microchipped and pee pad trained. What more could you ask for? Ready for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $700

Story
Meet Kira of the K litter! She is a spunky, brave terrier mix who is 10 weeks old and currently weighs about 10 pounds. She loves to play with other dogs and she can hold her own in a good game of tug of war. These pups are well socialized and eager to please. They are doing great in foster care: romping and playing and learning all aspects of puppy life and new rules. The K Pups are very active, full of vim and vigor. They will keep you and yours very entertained. Mom is 21 lbs and could be a minpin mix while dad is a total unknown. They are sleeping through the night in their crate, and learning the ropes of house training. These little pups have tons of personality and can't wait to find their forever homes. The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. **No extensions or exceptions will be made to the required spay/neuter date. Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old. Petconnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
