Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Patches! 🐾 Patches is a one-year-old, 15 LB Rat Terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! This sweet and spunky little guy is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He loves going on daily walks, exploring new places, and soaking up all the adventures life has to offer. Patches is incredibly smart, treat-motivated, and eager to learn—which makes training fun and rewarding for both of you. He walks great on leash and has gotten along well with other dogs in our care. Whether you’re looking for a solo companion or a new furry friend to add to your pack, Patches could be a great fit! If he joins a home as the only dog, his adopters should be committed to continuing his socialization to keep him happy and confident. Patches hasn’t been tested with children or cats yet, so slow and supervised introductions are recommended if either are part of your household. He is looking for a forever family who will include him in daily walks, help him explore the world, continue his training, and keep him social and engaged. If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving adventure buddy, Patches just might be your perfect match! Patches is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Debonair 11-year-old Jax is an active and smart boy who will be a wonderful companion for the right family! Jax is a 25 lb. rat terrier.  He is in excellent physical condition after beating cancer (a mast cell tumor on his belly).  Jax loves sunning himself, walking, jogging, playing with stuffed animals, and chasing a ball. He gets along well with small dogs he's introduced to in his home environment. He has been very nice to his foster siblings but can be protective of his space and might correct another dog who touches or steps on him with a yowl and small snap. Jax would be fine as a single dog or with a respectful smaller dog.  Jax should not live with cats or other small pets. He does also have a bit of anxiety which has been greatly reduced with a stable schedule and increased exercise.  Jax barks at the door when he needs to go out and is perfectly housetrained. He can be trusted to be free indoors and doesn't get into the trash, counter surf, or chew items. Jax might have a tough exterior, but he has a soft, loving heart for someone who is willing to take the time to understand him.See more photos of Jax at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/jax .If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
Cherri is a sweet and energetic girl who would love a family of her own! She is about 1 year-old and a svelte 20 lbs. She's very energetic but so sweet and loves other dogs and humans too. She does have a strong prey drive and chases small animals and is likely to chase cats. Cherri loves to run and explore, though she can get a bit excited and bark and pull, so she'll need a bit of guidance on walking etiquette. When inside, Cherri isn't destructive at all and just wants to sit in a human's lap for cuddles. Cherri can become very excited around food -- she might jump up and down at dinner time but she is eager to learn nice manners! Cherri is lovely young girl who is already house-trained, and she would surely make a great companion for an active person or family. For more photos of Cherri, see https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/cherri !  If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
If you are looking for a total love bug, Cedar is your perfect girl. Weighing close to 15 lbs., 9-year-old Cedar enjoys snuggling with her people, napping in the sun, and exploring her fenced backyard. She's crate-trained but also loves to burrow under blankets and sleep close to her person in bed. She greets the day with requests for tummy rubs and happy bounces when it's time for breakfast. Cedar is 100% house-trained. In Cedar's past, she had limited experiences or positive interactions with humans, so she is very shy and skittish. But she's treat-motivated and warms up pretty quickly with some patience and gentleness, especially if she's in an environment where she feels safe. She does prefer women to men, and her primary person should be a woman. She has not minded attending her foster-grandparents' family dinners, and low-key dinner parties in her own home. As long as her primary person is nearby, and people take it slow with her, she does just fine.  In her own yard, she's a happy, exploring girl. She likes running around with her foster siblings and barking at wildlife. She startles easily, so she prefers her out-of-yard walks be in a quiet environment. This girl is just a bit of a homebody, though that circle can certainly expand with care.   Cedar gets along great with her foster siblings. She likes and is comforted by her dog friends and does not mind cats at all. She doesn't really understand play, but she never has an unkind word for anybody. Cedar has a wonderful, sweet personality, is a low-maintenance dog, and has been a joy to her foster family. See more photos of this sweet girl at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/cedar .
