Story
Hi there, my name is Leila. I'm the best dog greeter in my doggie daycare. I love balls and toys, going for car rides and love to play with dogs and people.  I walk well on leash, but am scared of bikes and scooters - wheelie things are weird!  I am extremely affectionate and loveable. I have a million facial expressions. I love being outside and playing in the snow. I'm working on my nice leash walking, but am making good progress. I love to explore and sometimes my nose leads me off path.  I would make a great addition to an active home preferably with another dog!  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##2079620##

Meet Thalia Breed: Rottweiler / Terrier mix Sex: Female Birthday: 7/25/2022 Weight: 45 pounds Health: Healthy and spayed Personality Thalia is a sweet, affectionate, and friendly girl who’s always happy to be near her people. She’s calm indoors, playful outside, and truly enjoys being part of a loving routine. Her expressive eyes and gentle nature win hearts everywhere she goes. Why Thalia Would Be a Great Adoption Choice Thalia is the best of both worlds — loyal and loving with just the right touch of playfulness. She’s past the high-energy puppy stage but still has plenty of joy to share. Whether you're looking for a steady walking buddy or a cuddle companion, Thalia is your girl. Breed Info Rottweilers are known for their strength, loyalty, and intelligence. Terrier mixes bring spunk and charm. Thalia is a beautiful mix of these traits — smart, stable, affectionate, and just the right size for most homes. Owner Responsibilities Provide daily companionship, walks, and structure Continue positive training and encouragement Maintain a healthy diet and veterinary care Offer mental stimulation and a loving home &#226&#157&#151Things to Consider  Will you allow time for your new dog to adjust to their new environment, routine, and family? Can you afford the financial responsibility of a dog — including food, vet care, preventatives, and grooming? Does your housing allow dogs, and are there any breed or size restrictions? Does anyone in your household have allergies to pets? Do you have the time, energy, and commitment to provide daily care, exercise, and affection for the next 10–15 years? These dogs are not to be chained or left outside. Each one deserves to live indoors with love, safety, and companionship. Commitment for Life Thalia is looking for her forever person — someone who won’t give up on her, no matter what. She’s ready to give endless love, but needs the same in return. This is a lifetime bond, a promise to care for her through every season of life. She’ll be your loyal friend, always. Story
In 2024 I was volunteering at a local animal shelter and absolutely fell in love with a mama dog who came in with 5 babies who all survived parvo. I brought her home hoping she would be a good companion to my current dog, but unfortunately their relationship did not grow. It has become clear in the last year and a half that they will not be friends and we believe there is a better home for Cheddar where she is the only dog. This girl loves nothing more than to snuggle, she could lay with you all day. She’s a great guard dog, and loves chasing squirrels and playing tug. She needs to be the only pet in your house. She has dog reactivity and a bite history with our other dog. Because of these behavioral complexities, it would be best for her to be in a house with only older children. A home visit and multiple meet and greets with her will be required to move forward with adoption. It’s our goal to find her a home where she can thrive.

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $300).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
**Meet Your Future Best Friend & Hiking Buddy! **  Liam is a boxer/pitbull mix. Shelter thought he was a Great Dane Mix... uh, no sir! He is currently 45 pounds.  Neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.   Looking for a total cuddle bug with the heart of a loyal protector? This handsome boy is ready to find his forever home!    * **The Ultimate Snuggle Bug:** Loves nothing more than climbing into bed at night for cuddles. He thrives on affection, love, and mental stimulation.    * **Leash Legend in Training:** He is an *amazing* leash walker—zero pulling and completely non-reactive to bikes, other dogs, or urban distractions! He's building his confidence every day and is going to make an incredible hiking partner as he grows.    * **Dog & Cat Status:** Great with other dogs (though he loves a good, playful puppy-rough style and just needs a gentle redirect when he gets too enthusiastic). We recently passed a cat on a walk, and he was just curiously polite!    * **A Total Sweetheart:** He's fine with everyone, including men, but he definitely has a extra-special place in his heart for his foster mom and daughter—he is a complete sucker for his favorite ladies!    * **House Manners:** Crate-trained while you're away, non-aggressive, and a total shadow when you're home. He’s already got huge paws (though we think he’s done growing up and just ready to fill out into his handsome frame!).    If you're looking for a devoted, smart, and affectionate companion, come meet him!   Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375August 25, 2026, 12:11 pm
