Story
**I am currently residing in a foster home and can be seen with an approved adoption application**Hola! I am Deja (pronounced DAY-HA) and I've had quite the journey to get to Animal Ark. You see, I was a stray in Tijuana, Mexico and taken in by a Vet Clinic there to be fixed. They put me back out on the street but I didn't want to leave! I wanted to be with people. So another rescue group in the Twin Cities brought me to Minnesota and now I'm here! I'm a sweet, 2 year old, female Doberman/Rottweiler mix who weighs 52 pounds...just right for a medium sized dog. I can't live with felines but the staff has found me to be outgoing and enjoying all the attention I can get.

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Who’s looking for a fun, friendly, happy and loving big boy with gorgeous block head!!? Look no further because your guy is right here!!   And poor Tyson has gotten the short end of the stick with life. His first owner died, ended up in a shelter and then he ended up in a failed adoption. Rotties are awesome, big, and SMART! So he needs the right owner to provide structure and to help him land exactly where he’s meant to be once and for all. So with that, let me introduce Tyson and he can tell you about himself..... Hi! My name is Tyson and I love playtime and dogs. I love to play fetch, chew on dog toys, and walks. I am smart and love learning, I will do great with more training and awesome leadership. I love to run around the fenced yard and play. I would love a home that is active and loves to go on walks and go on adventures. I am also great in my crate at night and also fully potty trained. I may be a big boy but I am full of love, cuddles and wanting to be with my family. I hope you want to meet me so I can show you how much love I have to give and how much of a great asset I can be to your family. Go ahead and fill out that app so you can come meet me! If you would like to meet Tyson, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Introducing Reyna, the regal and affectionate Rottweiler mix who lives up to her name as the Queen of the Good Girls. Reyna is ready to reign supreme in her forever home, surrounded by love and care. Reyna's journey began when she was found on the highway, abandoned and in desperate need of help. Despite her challenging start in life, Reyna's resilience and loving nature shone through. She captured the hearts of those who discovered her, and her transformation began. This beautiful girl is a Rottweiler mix, displaying the distinctive markings and strong physique of her breed. While her exact mix may be a mystery, her gentle and loving demeanor sets her apart as a special companion. Reyna is best suited to a home with older kids who can understand and respect her needs. Although she is a sweetheart, her size and strength may be better suited to older children who can handle her with care. She is not compatible with cats, so a feline-free household is necessary. When it comes to her fellow canines, Reyna prefers larger dogs. A meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure compatibility and a harmonious living environment. Reyna thrives on positive interactions and socialization, making her a wonderful companion for those with existing canine family members. This majestic girl is crate-trained and does not experience separation anxiety. She is comfortable spending time in her crate and will appreciate having a safe and cozy space to call her own. Reyna has already learned the simple trick of sitting for treats, showcasing her intelligence and willingness to please. Reyna has a list of favorite things that bring her joy. She relishes car rides, delighting in the wind blowing through her fur as she accompanies her family on their adventures. Rolling in the grass and exploring the neighborhood during walks are among her cherished pastimes. Reyna loves running and exercising her energetic nature, so an active lifestyle is essential for her well-being. When it's time to unwind, Reyna appreciates soft blankets and toys that provide comfort and entertainment. She adores spending time with her beloved humans, soaking up their affection and companionship. Reyna is a loyal and devoted companion, always ready to be by your side. While Reyna has her preferences, there are a couple of dislikes to note. She is not fond of cats, and water is not her favorite element. Understanding and respecting these preferences will help ensure a harmonious home environment for Reyna. Reyna's story is one of resilience and triumph over adversity. From her initial discovery, where she was found dumped on the highway, to her miraculous transformation into a loving and gentle soul, she has shown incredible strength and a capacity for love. If you're searching for a royal canine companion, Reyna is waiting to be crowned the queen of your heart and home. With her regal presence, gentle nature, and unwavering loyalty, she will bring immeasurable joy to your life. Welcome Reyna into your family, and let her reign over a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventures by your side. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Clover is delightful, affectionate and funny. Clover's estimated DOB is 3/18/21.  When she wants attention she does the sideways forward walk.  She is always the first to greet me in the morning.    Clover is completely housetrained.  She does not like the dark so needs encouragement to go out that last time at night.  She is comfortable in the kennel.  We had her in the kennel at night and during the day when she first arrived, but now we allow her to free roam.     Clover is a real lover.  If we are working in the office she will come and lay on the floor to keep us company.  Once when our granddaughter came over she had a scrape.  Clover came over and sat in her lap while she was crying and gave her a couple of licks on the face to wipe away the tears.  The granddaughter felt much better very quickly.  One of Clover's favorite activities is getting a belly rub - she will lay there for quite awhile.    We have 2 large resident dogs and she plays well with them.  We do not have a cat so cannot say how she would do with one.  Given her prey drive for squirrels and bunnies when we go for a walk I am guessing it would be a no go for a cat.   Clover has been through a lot in her life and is now waiting for her forever home. She has been a mama, had multiple surgeries such as; tail amputations from her "happy tails," a surgery for an intestinal obstruction and surgery to repair her knee! She is fully healed from her most recent surgery and is ready to find a home. Would Clover make a great addition to your family?  Fill out the application and we can talk more.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination:  Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue.  We do not guarantee this determination.
