Story
**I am currently residing in a foster home and can be seen with an approved adoption application**Hola! I am Deja (pronounced DAY-HA) and I've had quite the journey to get to Animal Ark. You see, I was a stray in Tijuana, Mexico and taken in by a Vet Clinic there to be fixed. They put me back out on the street but I didn't want to leave! I wanted to be with people. So another rescue group in the Twin Cities brought me to Minnesota and now I'm here! I'm a sweet, 2 year old, female Doberman/Rottweiler mix who weighs 52 pounds...just right for a medium sized dog. I can't live with felines but the staff has found me to be outgoing and enjoying all the attention I can get.

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Location: Spirit Lake, Iowa Hi, I'm Copper! I am quite possibly the sweetest pup you will ever meet! I am 10 months old and about 35 lbs. I love to snuggle up to my humans whether on the couch or at night when it's time for bed. I'm such a fun time in my foster home playing with the other dogs there- and I love to run around the fenced in yard! I have a lot of energy but I'm also chill when I need to be. I am potty trained but I have had a couple accidents due to excitement or nervousness. I don't like going in the kennel so much but once I'm in there, I do just fine- and no accidents! I would love to be the newest addition to your family! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Who’s looking for a fun, friendly, happy and loving big boy with gorgeous block head!!? Look no further because your guy is right here!!   And poor Tyson has gotten the short end of the stick with life. His first owner died, ended up in a shelter and then he ended up in a failed adoption. Rotties are awesome, big, and SMART! So he needs the right owner to provide structure and to help him land exactly where he’s meant to be once and for all. So with that, let me introduce Tyson and he can tell you about himself..... Hi! My name is Tyson and I love playtime and dogs. I love to play fetch, chew on dog toys, and walks. I am smart and love learning, I will do great with more training and awesome leadership. I love to run around the fenced yard and play. I would love a home that is active and loves to go on walks and go on adventures. I am also great in my crate at night and also fully potty trained. I may be a big boy but I am full of love, cuddles and wanting to be with my family. I hope you want to meet me so I can show you how much love I have to give and how much of a great asset I can be to your family. Go ahead and fill out that app so you can come meet me! If you would like to meet Tyson, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Welcome Barney to CCPAL Foster Program. Rocky is a 60 lb Rottweiler dog. He looks to be a very high mix or pure-bred dog. He has a bobbed tail and is decent on the leash. He does fine on a car ride. He requires some assistance getting in right now. It is adorable. He kneels and you must put his front paws up. I do not think this boy has done too many rides. He stays in the backseat and was nice and friendly meeting me as a stranger. People that love this breed love it because of their loyalty to their human. We would love a person who has owned this breed to be his new adopter. It always is best if someone knows the breed and how to best work with the breed and handle it. He seems like ever other amazing big dog but we know that a good dog is a dog that has all his needs met. He isn’t too energetic but not a couch potato either. He is a good amount of energetic and chill. He also keeps his feet on the floor and doesn’t jump up on people which is nice. He should bond nicely and be very loyal. His situation is that he had a family but there was a death in the family and his owner is now caring for small children. He is good with children but his owner does not have time to spend with him because of the unexpected circumstances. He is vaccinated, heart worm negative and good with other dogs. We don’t know about cats. We will be working to get him crate trained. He is attentive and smart. He will make some family a very great pet. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get Barney to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video!!

Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Hi! My name is Cola. I might just be the cutest little boxer mix you’ve ever met! After being found as an injured stray (wounds on my face and legs) I ended up at the local impound. My foster parents volunteer there and would take me for walks and do fun things with me. After a few weeks of being there, I had a scary medical emergency and needed to go to rescue for treatment. That’s when my foster parents stepped in! My foster mom will explain the medical stuff later, but first, I wanna tell you about myself! I’m a 1-year-old spunky, playful, and outgoing girl. I love people and dogs of all ages and sizes and I’m very polite when meeting new faces. I also get along really well with my cat foster brother, Leroy. My favorite pastimes include going for walks, romping around outside, and chewing Nylabones and stuffies. Despite my size, I’m a total super chewer and I’m proud of it! I’m also REALLY food motivated which helps with training. I enjoy trips to the pet store, dog friendly coffee shops, and breweries.  I love spending time with people, in fact, I get really upset when they leave me alone sometimes. My foster mom says I probably shouldn’t go to a home with shared walls because I am very vocal when I’m all by my lonesome. This is something I’m working on! The humans call it separation anxiety, I just call it passion. Okay, now that that’s out of the way, my only other flaw is that I almost jumped a chain link fence for a squirrel. Not my fault! He was looking at me sideways. And nobody’s perfect. But just so you know, I’m athletic enough to jump a chain link.  A note from my foster mom: Cola’s foster mom here! Cola is a super sweet girl and we love her so much. Everyone who meets her comments on how gentle and well-mannered she is! She is a great foster sister to her dog and cat foster brothers and would love a home with another dog. Cola would do best with someone who is home most of the time or has a flexible work schedule. Providing structure and continued training to help work through her separation anxiety is important. Cola is working on crate training and willingly sleeps in her crate next to our bed. She loves enrichment activities and fun games that allow her to use her mind to work for rewards.  Okay, now for the not-so-fun medical stuff. Cola became lethargic at the shelter and further examination revealed fever, pale mucous membranes, and stiff joints. Since coming into rescue, she has been responding to treatment so far (medication 2x/day), but we do not have an official diagnosis yet. Depending on the vet’s findings, her forever home may have to continue additional treatments. As of now, she will remain in foster until we figure out what is going on. Her values have been improving which is a good sign. I promise she’s worth the wait! ##1820198##
