Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $400 plus taxHi, I’m Stormy! I might be a little nervous at first, but once I get to know you, I’m all about the snuggles and love! My dream day? Cuddling up with my favorite person on the couch, maybe while they watch a show or read a book. I’d be perfectly content just hanging out with you all day.I’m doing great in new places, meeting new people, and I love other dogs too—so a trip to the park or doggy playdate is always fun! I can run around and play with the best of them, once I feel comfortable. I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to commands (I’m a work-in-progress), but I promise I’m trying. I can be trusted out and about in most places, though I might need a little more help with the whole “being alone” thing. I’m still working on the whole separation anxiety thing, so if you’re away for a bit, I’d do best in a more secure area where I can’t get into too much trouble. I’m very curious, and if I get a little anxious, my curiosity might lead me to explore where I shouldn’t.   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kamo and his 11 siblings were born in rescue.  Khloe, their momma, was surrendered from a local Minnesota backyard breeder. They love other dogs. They love everyone and everything. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.Meet Kamo – Your New Best Friend! Kamo is a handsome 6-month-old Rottweiler / German Shepherd puppy. This sweet boy is full of curiosity, energy, and affection. He’s currently working on his house training and making great progress! Kamo is also crate-trained and quickly picking up on basic commands. He absolutely adores kids and is wonderfully gentle around them. Kamo is also great with cats, other dogs, and even farm animals—making him a perfect fit for both suburban homes and rural properties. He’s learning to love the water, so splashy adventures could definitely be in his future! Kamo would thrive in an active, loving home that can continue his training and provide him with plenty of playtime, structure, and snuggles. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to meet his forever home. We have the puppies listed as altered, however, they have not been as of yet. He is scheduled for the middle of June. We will not finalize adoption until after the neuter.  First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to our vet for neuter appointment.  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 24, 2025, 8:38 am
