Louffy does wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive either as your one-and-only or alongside a friendly, well-matched canine companion. We’re not certain about cats — his prey drive seems a bit high — but given his overall gentle nature, he may do well with slow, structured introductions. This sweet boy is fully potty trained, crate trained, and rarely barks.He walks nicely on leash, is picking up his basic commands, and responds beautifully to praise, encouragement, and affection (even if treats aren’t always his thing!). Louffy loves chewing on bones, being chased in the yard, and playing with balls… though he’s still working on understanding the finer points of fetch. It’s adorable. If you’re searching for a loving, easygoing, and people-oriented companion, Louffy may just be your perfect match. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. Alfalfa has so many meanings. To horse people alfalfa is a rich and green leafy food :) To dog people, Alfalfa, means ME!!! I have not lead the most "leafy" life though. I was FINALLY saved from an extreme hoarding situation - I was waiting my whole life to leave that "life" behind!! And I am SO grateful to the ladies who have taken over a year to save 65 of the 87 dogs I lived with AND are still working to get more out! I am a shy when u first meet me, but don't let that de-suade you! I will warm up and you will be so so grateful that you gave me the time to open up to you and show you my steady and grateful side, I am more of a loner than a lot of hoarding dogs are, I actually would be fine with or without another dog or cat. Meet Jackie - a wonderfully clumsy, moderate-energy young pup with bulldog snores and boxer antics (because of course she’s literally made of those two breeds). She’ll do a few joyful zoomie laps around the house and then immediately take a dramatic nap like she just ran a 5k. Jackie is fully potty-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her own bed. She knows sit, takes treats gently, and absolutely loves balls. She can be a little squirmy and unsure at first, but once she warms up, she melts right into you like butter in a hot pan. She may benefit from having a confident dog sibling to learn from, but it’s not required—she can thrive solo, too. Because she’s sensitive to sudden movement and startle responses, Jackie would do best in a home with older kids only. She’ll really blossom with gentle reassurance, structure, and routine. Hi, my name is Raven and I am from Arkansas! I am the sweetest girl ever. I am calm, gentle, and so so sweet. I LOVE to nap and cuddle up with my humans and go for strolls (I LOVE squirrels).
