Alfalfa has so many meanings. To horse people alfalfa is a rich and green leafy food :) To dog people, Alfalfa, means ME!!! I have not lead the most "leafy" life though. I was FINALLY saved from an extreme hoarding situation - I was waiting my whole life to leave that "life" behind!! And I am SO grateful to the ladies who have taken over a year to save 65 of the 87 dogs I lived with AND are still working to get more out! Ginger is so sweet and loves her people closest to her so much. She was adopted 9 or so years ago and found wandering the streets of Texas. She has no back ground history but it is clear she was in a dog fighting ring so this probably leads to her dislike to any other animal. She can be very territorial and does not like someone in her space when she’s relaxing or near her face if she gives warning signs. She has biten my niece a few years back and bite our cat a little bit ago. We plan to have kids soon and I would feel more comfortable not putting either party in harms way. It would be ideal if she had a home with no children and no other pets but an owner who can understand boundaries and dog signs and is aware she can be high energy and likes walks even if they might be extra work. Ginger is the sweetest dog she just has some behavior issues that our family cannot maintain anymore with children in our future and avoiding vet visits for our other animals.
