Fully vetted and heartworm negative, he’s ready to start his next chapter. He came from a tough situation and is doing well in his busy foster home, where he’s showing just how resilient and loving he can be. This boy is looking for a family who will give him the stability and love he deserves. The resident dog is just not interested in sharing his home with Ivan. Crate trained: Yes, may whine for a few minutes and settles down Meet Brownie! At about 8 months old, Brownie is a sweet young girl who is still discovering how wonderful life can be. Her favorite thing? Snuggling up with her people. She has a very loving nature and is happiest when she’s close by soaking up attention. Brownie does great with other dogs and would really enjoy having a playful canine friend in her forever home. She’s also very respectful of dogs who prefer their space—she’s been living with a senior dog who isn’t interested in playing, and Brownie has been wonderfully polite about it. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore the world with her humans. Brownie is still working on potty training, but she does well when kept on a consistent schedule and is continuing to improve as she settles into her routine. Brownie is comfortable in a kennel, though she can have a little separation anxiety at first. She may whine for about 5–10 minutes when you leave, but she does settle down. When she first arrived, she was scared and unsure with her tail tucked. With strangers, she does still have an initial wariness, but once you are part of her trusted circle, she quickly comes out of her shell. She is a goofy and playful girl who LOVES to cuddle up in your lap, chew on bones and chase balls. Pumpkin is full of affection and gets along great with other dogs. She's also very smart and well-behaved, she's never chewed on anything she's not supposed to, and she's never had a potty accident indoors. She's a pretty quiet girl, but will make noise at appropriate times - which isn't often. She sleeps with the resident dogs at night and happily spends portions of her day quietly in a crate. Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200.
