Have you ever wanted a goofy 93 lb. lap dog?? Prince is your guy!! We were finally able to pull Prince from the shelter, thanks to our wonderful fosters!! Prince is a loveable, playful, charming guy who is good with other pups and is fantastic with cats! He is up to date on vaccines & vetting. He was euth listed at a local shelter after a minor bite incident in which he clearly expressed discomfort and his warning signals were ignored. He was a staff/volunteer favorite, while at the shelter. He is with foster parents who are extremely dedicated to setting all of the dogs that they foster up for success, They really work to understand their quirks & work through any issues they might have. Prince is really becoming his best self, and is ready to find his forever family. He is muzzle trained. Prince does prefer a quiet, adult only household. He is somewhat slow to warm up to new people, especially men. If you are patient & give him enough treats and calm slow interactions, he will end up being your best friend.

Hi world, I’m Skye 🌤️ I’m just a baby, but I already have a pretty big story. Not long ago, I was alone and stuck in a drain in Houston. It was dark and scary, and I don’t know how I got there 🥺 I don’t know how long I waited. But I do know that some really amazing humans didn’t give up on me. Because of them… I’m here. I’m safe. 💛 What we didn’t know then is that my mama is Winter, the sweet, brave girl who was saved from a busy shelter. Somehow, we got separated. Things happened so fast that no one even knew I was there. My daddy was there too… and he didn’t make it out. I never got the chance to know him, but I carry a little piece of him with me every single day. This second chance I have? It’s for him too. 🤍 The best part of my story is that I’m back with my mama. Being reunited with her feels like sunshine after a storm ⛈️ When we curl up together, it’s like the world makes sense again 🥹 Now that I’m safe in foster care, you’re getting to see the real me. And let me tell you… I have a LOT of life to live ☺️ I’m happy, friendly, and full of puppy energy. Adventure? Yes please! I absolutely love other dogs and look to them to help me learn the ropes. We'd like to re-introduce you to Winnie, a remarkable dog who's come a long way since we last introduced her a few months ago. If you remember she rescued by a Good Samaritan and had an an iliac fracture and MAJOR ear troubles. Thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible community, we were able to provide her with the necessary medical care, granting her the gift of a pain-free life through total ear canal ablation surgery she needed. Now, the time has come for us to find Winnie her forever home. At around 5-6 years old, Winnie is not just any dog; she's a TOTAL SWEETHEART! She has been living with a foster and has shown great compatibility with their other large dog, Scottie. Day by day, she's making huge strides in meeting new people. Instead of being terrified, she now greets strangers with excitement. Her transformation is nothing short of inspiring. Winnie does reasonably well around cats but may need some separation when left alone. She's learning to understand them, but she’s not aggressive towards them. When it comes to children, we believe she would thrive best in a home with older kids, as her playfulness can be exuberant, akin to a bull in a China shop. She also can be a bit mouthy when she wants attention, but it’s more gentle and nothing major.
