Have you ever wanted a goofy 93 lb. lap dog?? Prince is your guy!! We were finally able to pull Prince from the shelter, thanks to our wonderful fosters!! Prince is a loveable, playful, charming guy who is good with other pups and is fantastic with cats! He is up to date on vaccines & vetting. He was euth listed at a local shelter after a minor bite incident in which he clearly expressed discomfort and his warning signals were ignored. He was a staff/volunteer favorite, while at the shelter. He is with foster parents who are extremely dedicated to setting all of the dogs that they foster up for success, They really work to understand their quirks & work through any issues they might have. Prince is really becoming his best self, and is ready to find his forever family. He is muzzle trained. Prince does prefer a quiet, adult only household. He is somewhat slow to warm up to new people, especially men. If you are patient & give him enough treats and calm slow interactions, he will end up being your best friend.

Welcome Pork-Chop to the rescue! He is a little over a year old, & 103 lbs. of adorableness. He is working on getting up to date on vaccines & vetting. He will be neutered prior to adoption. He will also be getting some training, once we find him a foster or foster to adopt home. He is a very happy, friendly boy, but needs to learn some manners. He does well with all humans, other than potentially knocking over small humans when he is excited. He loves playing with other dogs, and while he is curious about cats, he doesn’t show any reaction when swatted by a cat. We are looking for a strong adopter with Rottweiler experience.

Meet Minka, She is a 4 year old Rottweiler mix. She came in with Lucy. She also is from the Brunswick pound. She weighs 55 lbs. She is also a little shy and confused. But she just needs a little time to adjust. She will be available for adoption on 4/23/26. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Hi, I’m Wyatt 💛 I’m a 2-year-old Rottie with a story 📖 I was rescued from a really scary place where nobody cared for me 🥺 My skin hurt so badly that when I got my first bath, the water turned red from all the blood washing off of me. It was really, really hard, but I’m safe now and healing more every single day ❤️‍🩹 I’m still on my journey to feeling completely healthy and happy, but I’m already learning so much! I haven’t had a single accident inside, I figured out the dog door in just two days, and I’m super smart. I love hanging out with my fellow doggies. Dog sitting and owner never returned. This has been difficult because we are not a pet family. The dog housed in garage, he seems to prefer to be outside. He does not like the basement and will not go down there. He is playful and I little clumsy. He has not shown any aggressive behavior towards any of our guest including children. He has gotten out of the yard a couple times, once he was sitting at bus stop with kids he did not know. When people walk dogs by the fence he runs back and forth barking. I think he is a sweet dog but we can't manage him. We tried to get him in a no kill shelter and was not able to. We have many family events at the home with different people and again no issues
