Prince finds himself euth listed, due to a bite history. A bite that was absolutely caused by human error! He is great with other dogs, and was a super sweetheart when she had him out in the play yard. He came from an awful hoarding situation with 28 dogs, most of whom have been adopted out already. He knows basic commands, is about 4 years old, 95 lbs., and would make a perfect new family member with a strong adopter & a quiet home. We can only take him if we can find a foster. Once we find a committed, approved foster, he will be going to our trainer for an assessment. As always, all food, vetting, toys, treats, etc… is covered by our rescue, while under foster. Preference given to foster to adopt.

Goose is an around 3 year old Rottweiler mix who is neutered and weighs 72lbs. He is up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm positive, but our rescue pays for all of his treatment. He was found wandering around a neighborhood in Alabama. He is now in Cleveland waiting for his forever home. He is a sweet, lovable guy who thinks he is a lap dog :) He loves being with his people and does not like being alone. Goose has some hesitancy to crates but is house broken and happy to go on a walk, but does not require hours of exercise. He does not pull on the leash. Goose does well with other dogs and older children (we haven't seen him with younger one but think it would be fine, based on his temperament). Coming at you with his engines revving, Diesel is a 2 year old Rottweiler mix who knows what he’s all about. After spending some time with us at the Cleveland APL, we think he’d be more than keen to speed on out of here and into a new home.Diesel is not for a first time dog owner. Once he gets going, it’s hard to slow him down- keeping in theme with his name, he’s a fan of adding fuel to his fire. Structure, enrichment, and additional positive reinforcement-based training will be necessary to keep this boy running smoothly. Staying true and faithful to his breed, Diesel has also displayed guarding behavior during his stay at the shelter. He likes to stay vigilant, and will often take special care to let us know that his stuff is his. In order to set this handsome man up for success, we believe he would most likely do best in the care of an adopter with breed knowledge and familiarity with dogs who can be easily overstimulated.
