Story
Have you ever wanted a goofy 95 lb. lap dog?? Prince is your guy!! We were finally able to pull Prince from the shelter, thanks to our wonderful fosters!! Prince is a loveable, playful, charming guy who is good with other pups and is fantastic with cats! He is up to date on vaccines & vetting. He was euth listed at a local shelter after a minor bite incident in which he clearly expressed discomfort and his warning signals were ignored. He was a staff/volunteer favorite, while at the shelter. He is with foster parents who are extremely dedicated to setting all of the dogs that they foster up for success, They really work to understand their quirks & work through any issues they might have. Prince is really becoming his best self, and is ready to find his forever family. Prince does prefer a quiet, adult only household.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi,Marcus Brody here.    For those of you trying to find the husky in me,I don't see it either but my mom did a dna test on me and yep it's in there somewhere. My mom got me from a shelter in Feb. but didn't realize I still had so much puppy still in me.Unfortunately between her working full time and me being too energetic for my older brother she has had to make the hard decision to find me another home that can run out some of my energy.Speaking of running I go on runs with one of her friends and love it.Are you looking for a running partner?I do great with dogs and older kids.My energy is a little too much for younger ones.I love everyone(except cats) and am a big cuddle bug(when I am not being a nosy pup)  Would love an active family that keeps me busy.I am crate trained but only go in for a treat.Who am I kidding I will do anything for a treat. Are you an active family looking for an active boy? Here I am and I am ready for you!Lets meet! 15month breeder reclaim(10-7-2024). Big sweetheart. Needs a lot of love, training & socialization. He needs an experienced, ADULT only home- absolutely no children under 18- he may do best as the only dog(lived happily in his previous home with a female Rottweiler). He needs extensive socialization and positive reinforcement training. He spent 1 wk with our dog trainer helping establish basic obedience(please follow Jami Sue Moses-Phillips on FB for tons of training videos of this beautiful guy). He is a loving, loyal boy who just wants to have his own person. Very smart, very eager. Will be an excellent companion to the proper individual. I just want him to find an outstanding, loving home- one that will allow him to thrive & reach his full potential. Both of his parents are FULLY health tested: hips(excellent & fair) elbows(both normal) heart(both normal) eyes & genetic DNA(both JLPP free). He is AKC registered.

Story
Zeus ❤ What a gentleman! Talk about aging like fine wine ❤ Zeus makes you feel like you are his entire world. He knows how to kiss on command. When you say kiss, he licks your face (yeah, may not be a good idea if you have makeup on). At mealtimes, he kisses you to let you know it’s time to get his meals ready. (he likes a little bit of green beans with his kibbles). Zeus can be rude when it comes to affection. He plows into people for affection. Imagine 150lb leaning into you. He also gives paw and the handsomest smiles. When you lay down at night, he comes over and puts his head on your chest for pets and also as if to say, ‘sleep tight, my love’. He always lies next to you when you relax at night and when you fall asleep, he makes his way to his own bed. He sleeps out. He is respectful of the house and everything in it. In the morning, he comes over to lick your nose, an indication that it is time to wakey wakey. If you don’t mind sharing the couch with him, watch out – he is a couch hog. At 150lb. no surprise there! Zeus greets you at the door when you come home. Aren’t these traits enough to make you swoon? Zeus loves toys. He plays with stuffed toys by destroying them. He destroys all stuffed toys except this one purple Rhino. He plays with it and licks it until it is stinky and gross. Zeus knows sit and shake. He takes treats nicely. Here’s a little secret Zeus doesn’t want us to share but we are gonna anyways. Zeus does not like to poop and pee by himself😕 He wants someone to ‘hold his hand’ while he does that. Other Zeus dislike – he hates the trash truck. Zeus is 8 years old, 150lb Rottweiler. He is looking for a quiet home where he can chill and relax with his humans. He is good with girl dogs, selective with boys. *Disclosure - Zeus’ right foot occasionally gets swollen from allergies. He has a fatty tumor under his neck. He does not do well with anesthesia*

Story
This is Samantha. She was brought to me without me actually saying yes. She is a big girl. She does get along with my dog, but my dog usually gets along with all dogs. From one of them told I think she is 7, and in Rottweiler world I guess that’s very old. She loves to eat she loves missing socks. She loves tears and couches and likes to make them bigger, hehe. Like most Rottweilers she just loves to chew on things. She loves food and always hungry. She has a scary bark, but she is very sweet.

These pups are in Aurora, Ohio too!

Story
Remi is a 4-year-old Doberman with a big heart, a big personality, and even bigger potential. She is deeply loyal, incredibly smart, and always tuned in to her people. Once she trusts you, she communicates beautifully — whether it’s alerting you to a mouse hiding in a container or insisting you come check on an opossum that fell into the pool. She observes everything and takes her role as household protector seriously, but without aggression. Remi LOVES tennis balls, toys, fetch, and running. She was an Amish puppy-mill momma for much of her early life, likely crated far too often, so the freedom to run and play now means everything to her. She needs an active, outdoorsy family who will include her in adventures, take her on car rides (she loves them!), and give her the physical and mental stimulation she craves. Remi is energetic, playful, and occasionally tries to “bulldoze” her favorite humans when excited, so she's looking for a forever home with adults and dog-savvy teens.  (No small children).  A physically fenced yard is needed to provide a safe space where she can sprint, chase toys, and safely burn off energy. Remi picks up new tricks quickly and already knows wait, sit, stay, down, touch, and heel. She’s obedient, eager to learn, and food-motivated — treats make her forget her fears when she’s unsure. She’s leash trained, crate trained, swims, rides well in the car, and delights in anything involving toys or fetch. She’s also affectionate to her core. Remi loves snuggling on the couch or in bed and gives the sweetest “hugs” by wrapping her front legs around you. She’s a true lap dog at heart. Remi likes other animals — dogs, cats, and even the foster home’s macaw, whom she curiously but respectfully observes. She can be dominant with dogs but is also responsive and respectful. She is timid and shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, needing slow, hands-off introductions. She may bark or stomp when unsure, but once she decides you’re safe — especially if you offer her a ball — she warms up quickly. Remi Would Thrive With: • An experienced adopter with Doberman ownership experience • An active, outdoor-loving family • Dog-savvy teens or adults • A securely fenced yard • Someone patient and willing to help her gain confidence • Plenty of toys, balls, and playtime Apply for Remi at www.DUdobes.org   Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in parts of bordering states. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 8:18 am

Story
Hastiin-came in with her sonDoli is a 2-year old blue girl that has already overcome more than any dog ever should. When Doberman Underground rescued her from a shelter, she was in very rough shape—starved, weak, and covered in painful Demodex mange that had swollen her eyes shut and left her skin raw and inflamed. On top of that, she tested positive for heartworm. Her tiny, exhausted frame carried the weight of so much suffering. But through it all, Doli never gave up.  Today, thanks to months of nourishing food, gentle care, antibiotics, and the healing power of love, Doli is fully recovered and ready to start the next chapter of her life—with a family who sees her for the strong, beautiful soul she is. Doli is a classic “velcro" Doberman. The moment you reach out to pet her, no matter how busy or curious she is, she completely melts into your touch. She’s sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond with her people. She's great with dogs of all sizes and needs a playful canine companion in her adoptive home.  No cats and Doberman experience are needed to adopt her. She loves to stay active, but she also has a sensitive side and can be fearful in new situations, so young children would not be a good fit for her.  Because of her history on the run, a physically fenced yard is a must to help her feel safe and secure as she continues to thrive. Now that she’s been given a second chance, Doli is eager to learn, eager to love, and more than ready to find a forever family with Doberman experience so she can live her best life. Apply today to make Doli’s next chapter the best one yet.  www.DUdobes.org Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in parts of surrounding states.  Check the list of specific counties we adopt to at the top of our application before applying.   * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 30, 2025, 3:08 pm

Story
Graham is an 8-month-old blue Doberman who is ready for a forever home that truly understands the needs of a young, high-energy dog. This handsome boy is smart, athletic, and full of potential, but he will thrive only with adopters who are committed to structure, training, and daily engagement. Graham recently underwent cherry eye surgery, which has healed beautifully, and he just completed a board-and-train program. He now has a solid foundation, shows strong drive and focus, and would excel in dog sports such as obedience, rally, agility, or other structured working activities. Like any adolescent Doberman, his long-term success will depend on consistent follow-through and continued training in his adoptive home. Graham is best suited for a home where he can be the only dog. He should not live with cats or young children. He needs confident, experienced owners who can provide clear leadership, routine, and appropriate outlets for both his mental and physical energy. Training sessions, structured exercise, and purposeful interaction are not optional for Graham — they are essential. This is not a dog looking for a laid-back, couch-potato lifestyle. Graham is looking for an experienced Doberman adopter who wants a dog to work with, bond deeply with, and continue developing into an exceptional companion. If you are ready to invest the time, consistency, and commitment a young Doberman like Graham requires, you may have just found your perfect match.  Apply today at www.DUdobes.org Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in parts of surrounding states.  At the top of our application, you will find a full list of the states and specific counties we adopt to.   * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 19, 2026, 11:06 am
