Story
Have you ever wanted a goofy 93 lb. lap dog?? Prince is your guy!! We were finally able to pull Prince from the shelter, thanks to our wonderful fosters!! Prince is a loveable, playful, charming guy who is good with other pups and is fantastic with cats! He is up to date on vaccines & vetting. He was euth listed at a local shelter after a minor bite incident in which he clearly expressed discomfort and his warning signals were ignored. He was a staff/volunteer favorite, while at the shelter. He is with foster parents who are extremely dedicated to setting all of the dogs that they foster up for success, They really work to understand their quirks & work through any issues they might have. Prince is really becoming his best self, and is ready to find his forever family. He is muzzle trained. Prince does prefer a quiet, adult only household. He is somewhat slow to warm up to new people, especially men. If you are patient & give him enough treats and calm slow interactions, he will end up being your best friend.

Story
Welcome Pork-Chop to the rescue! He is a little over a year old, & 103 lbs. of adorableness. He is working on getting up to date on vaccines & vetting. He will be neutered prior to adoption. He will also be getting some training, once we find him a foster or foster to adopt home. He is a very happy, friendly boy, but needs to learn some manners. He does well with all humans, other than potentially knocking over small humans when he is excited. He loves playing with other dogs, and while he is curious about cats, he doesn’t show any reaction when swatted by a cat. We are looking for a strong adopter with Rottweiler experience.

Story
Hi, I’m Wyatt 💛 I’m a 2-year-old Rottie with a story 📖 I was rescued from a really scary place where nobody cared for me 🥺 My skin hurt so badly that when I got my first bath, the water turned red from all the blood washing off of me. It was really, really hard, but I’m safe now and healing more every single day ❤️‍🩹 I’m still on my journey to feeling completely healthy and happy, but I’m already learning so much! I haven’t had a single accident inside, I figured out the dog door in just two days, and I’m super smart. I love hanging out with my fellow doggies. Sometimes I like to be the King of Dog Bed Mountain 🛏️👑, and I’m gentle and sweet with everyone I meet ☺️ I’m not quite ready for my forever home yet. I have a bit more healing to do, but when I am ready, I’ll be unrecognizable in the best way 🥹 My skin will be shiny and healthy ✨, my heart will be full of love, and I’ll be the most loyal, snuggly, goofy Rottie you could ever hope for. I can’t wait for the day I get to meet my person, but until then, I’m learning, growing, and dreaming of that perfect forever home 🏡 Love, Wyatt 💛

Story
Hi, I’m Eryn 🌻 and yes, I’m as pretty as I sound ☺️ I’m about 2 years old, which means I’m the perfect mix of “let’s play” and “let’s nap immediately after” 😉 I take approximately zero seconds to fall in love with humans, so if you have a face, I will kiss it. If you have arms, I will hug you 🥰 Other dogs… I like to keep things a little mysterious 🧐 at first. I’ll take a minute, do some judging, and then BAM 💥 besties ❤️ Once I warm up, it’s full play mode like I’ve known them my whole life 🎾 I do great with both male and female dogs 🐾 I am also a very important household employee 😌 Professional bed tester, I sleep at the foot of your bed 💤 Certified snack inspector, I check your counters for safety 😋 Fetch enthusiast, returns may vary unless snacks are involved 🎾 Now let’s talk about food 🦴 because I LOVE food 🤤 deeply, emotionally, spiritually. I’m working on my manners, but for now just know what’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is… something I’m very interested in. My humans say I’m improving every day, especially with structure and guidance ☺️ I just need someone patient to keep helping me be my best self. I’m actually super smart 🧠 I learned the doggy door just by watching my dog friends 👀 I know how to sit, and I try really hard to wait for my food… but sometimes the excitement wins 🫣 We’re working on it, okay? A few of my adorable quirks 🥰 I do the cutest little frog sploot when I lay down 🐸 I like my human to go first into new rooms… you know, for safety reasons 🦺🥽 I stay close to my people once I love you, which takes about 0.2 seconds 💕 I’d do best with older, respectful kids and a home that understands my breed and is willing to give me structure, consistency, and love. I don’t need perfect, just someone willing to guide me 🥹 Because underneath my goofy, snack-obsessed, slightly dramatic personality is a really, really good girl who just wants to love her people with her whole heart 💜 So… are you ready for kisses, cuddles, and a little bit of counter supervision? 😉

Story
Meet Chance — and get ready to fall in love! When Chance first came to Doberman Underground Rescue , he weighed just 31 pounds… painfully underweight, with every protruding rib, bone, and sore telling the story of the life he had endured. He looked more like a skeleton than the strong, handsome Doberman he was always meant to be. Once we sprung him from the shelter, Chance got right to work on healing. He started eating like a champ—gaining not only much-needed weight, but also strength, energy, and a little sparkle back in his eyes. Today he has transformed into a beautiful red boy and his personality is shining through. Chance is a sweet, affectionate boy who truly wants to connect with his people. He’s well behaved, knows “sit,” and has been doing great with potty training while thriving on a regular schedule for outdoor breaks. He loves attention and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. He’s also still learning how to simply be a dog. Chance doesn’t fully understand canine social cues yet, so he would do best starting out as an only dog where he can build confidence and continue his training. That said, we do believe he could eventually do well with the right canine companion in the future. He has already shown great progress, especially when around other dogs with a fence between them, and he’s noticeably calmer as he learns. Chance will need a physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and continue building his confidence. Because of his need for structure and continued guidance, he’ll need an experienced Doberman owner who has the time and commitment to invest in training, leadership, and consistency. Teenagers should be just fine, though we don’t know how he does with small children. The best part? Beneath it all, Chance has the heart and potential to be the perfect dog.  He just needs someone willing to take a chance on him.  Could that be you? Story
Myra’s story is one of incredible resilience — but what truly defines her is the joyful, loving dog she has become. When Myra first came to us, she had clearly been through more than any dog should experience. Despite that rough start, her spirit never broke. Instead, she showed us just how strong, forgiving, and full of life she truly is. Today, Myra is thriving and embracing everything that comes with finally being able to live like a dog should. Myra is a Doberman / Shepherd mix — the perfect blend of two amazing breeds - with a sprinkle of Golden Retriever for extra sweetness. She has the intelligence, loyalty, and elegance of a Doberman paired with the confidence and versatility of a Shepherd. The result? A smart, affectionate, and engaging young dog who is always ready to be part of whatever her people are doing. This young, active, fun-loving girl is almost a year old now, gaining strength, confidence, and showing more of her personality every day. She’s incredibly friendly, very smart, and eager to learn, which means she’ll do wonderfully with continued training. She’s already just about potty trained and continues to make great progress. One of Myra’s most adorable quirks is her love for stuffies. She absolutely adores her toys — but unlike many dogs, she doesn’t destroy them. Instead, she carefully carries them around like prized possessions. They’re her “babies,” and if you adopt Myra, it’s truly a package deal — she will absolutely be bringing her beloved collection with her. Myra can be sweet and classy one minute, and the life of the party the next. She loves being part of the action and enjoys both playtime and affection with her people. Her joyful energy is contagious, and she has a way of making everyone around her smile. Because she’s still young and full of energy, Myra will do best with a family who is ready to continue her training, provide structure, and give her the exercise and engagement she needs to thrive. In return, she’ll give her family endless loyalty, love, and entertainment.  She needs a yard with a physical fence to provide a safe space for her to run and play.  She's good with larger dogs, but hasn't been around small dogs or cats.  She likely has too much puppy energy for very young children, but older kids would be fine. What Myra wants most is simple: a home where she can keep learning, keep playing, and finally be her family's beloved companion. Myra’s best chapter is just beginning. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, playful young dog who will keep you smiling every day — Myra might just be your girl.  Apply today at www.DUdobes.org   Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in areas of surrounding states.  A full list of the states and specific counties we adopt to is available at the top of our online application.   * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 20, 2026, 10:50 am

Story
Monkey is a 3-year-old female Doberman who has officially wrapped up her heartworm treatment and is ready to start the fun chapter of her life — finding her forever family! This joyful, playful girl has a huge personality and absolutely loves making friends with everyone she meets. Monkey is the perfect blend of sweet, gentle, and delightfully silly. She’s a classic Velcro Doberman who wants to be close to her people at all times and would happily volunteer to share your bed if you let her. She loves giving nose kisses and enjoys lounging on the couch just as much as she enjoys playtime.  Monkey thrives on being part of her family’s daily activities. This smart girl learns quickly and is already making progress on her manners.  Monkey has learned so much in her time in foster care she has learned how to walk well on a leash, she did great at Bark Bingo with over 200+ petting and mingling with her.   She is at that perfect age to thrive on training.   Monkey is young and full of energy, so she will need daily exercise, including walks and yard time to run and play. Squeaky toys beware — Monkey considers them her personal mission and will happily dismantle them if given the chance!  . She enjoys children and has been friendly and interested in them, though due to her enthusiasm and energy level, kids ages 5 and up would be the best fit. Monkey currently lives with a small dog. She would do best with a confident, middle-aged canine companion who can help guide her, build her confidence, and keep her in check during playtime. She is not cat safe. Monkey is still learning and has lots of youthful energy, so she would do best in a home where someone has the time and dedication to continue her training and help her succeed. A very busy household may not be the ideal fit for what she needs at this stage. Monkey is also a great little watchdog who will alert you when something or someone is outside but responds well to correction. If you are looking for a happy, energetic, affectionate Doberman with a big personality, Monkey may be your perfect match. With structure, training, and lots of love, this sweet girl is going to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion. Monkey is ready to swing into her forever home — could it be yours?
