Hello, partner, Texas here. I'm around 6 years old and weigh about 80 pounds. I'm just an ol' cowboy who found himself alone on the streets, down on his luck. Lucky for me some ladies convinced me to go with them, and things have been looking up since then. I am a sweet guy who's learning to trust again. It's clear I wasn't always treated well; if someone reaches too quickly for me, I duck my head like they might hit me. I can be a bit nervous around new males, but treats will quickly bring me around. I love the ladies, and the kids, and have even met a kitty that I'm friendly with as well. I have lots of dog friends, too. Did I mention I'm crate and house trained? I'm the best good boy this side of the Mississippi! I will need a fenced in yard in my forever home because I like to wander, and I surely love to run when I play. I also have what foster mom says is selective recall, but I like to call it a busy nose and penchant for adventure. I can also be pretty strong on the leash, so someone with some muscles to rein me in is needed. I might look tough and serious but join me for a game of tug or keep-away and you'll see that I'm really just a playful guy. Hopefully you've got a spot in your home and heart for me, because I am ready to find my perfect family! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 6 years Adoption fee: $300

Gorgeous girl Jovie is happy and loving and she simply adores people. Jovie currently lives in a foster home, and she has shown that her two favorite things are belly rubs and toys. She's fun and engaging to play with, but makes an equally great hang-out and cuddle buddy. She's clearly had some litters in her life, but this mama is ready to be pampered and loved on herself. She loves watching you in the kitchen, and makes a great little sous-chef! She has a sensitive side, and thrives when she has a chance to take her time and get used to her new routine.Jovie has pretty good house manners once she knows the drill. She is crate-trained, and is content to sleep through the night in bed with her humans. She also rides well in the car. In her ideal world, she'd have a fenced-in yard to run and play! She is also a smarty who already knows sit, paw on both sides, and touch, and she's learning more such as "stay." Jovie would do best in a home without cats. She has the potential to live with a lower-key dog, but she would also be perfectly happy with just humans in her house too. Mushu is a party on four legs! She's a big, mushy, exuberant lady with a lot of moxie. Mushu loves to make friends and her entire body wags when she's excited to see you. She's active, playful and silly and the hilarious expressions on her jowly mug are pretty charming. It's quite entertaining to see her playing with a toy, hopping and chasing it around with not much grace but a lot of enthusiasm. This joyful lady can be a bit of a bull in a china shop - her big personality is not easily contained - but she makes up for it by bursting with adoration for her people.
