Story
Hi! My name is Scout 🐾 And I’m here to prove that adopting a senior is actually one of the best decisions you’ll ever make ☺️ I’m not sure who makes these decisions that 7 is considered a senior but it’s dog crap if you ask me 💩Anyways not long ago, I found myself on the euthanasia list in Dallas 😔 The person who turned me into the shelter claimed that I didn’t like women, so what did the rescue do… they sent a woman to see if I like women, smart thinking 🧐 Well she showed up with hotdogs (clearly a professional), sat in front of my kennel, and started sharing 🌭 I immediately leaned in for a kiss because if you bring snacks, you’re obviously my people, duh! 🙄 That kiss sealed the deal, and I went home with her that same day. Now she’s my foster mom ♥️ and I think it’s safe to say I like women☺️ When I first arrived at her house I was scared and pretty thin, but with good food, consistency, and love, I’ve completely turned around 😊 I’ve gained weight, filled out beautifully, and now I’m a healthy, happy and a 102 pound bulldozer! I’m strong, yes but I’m also gentle, goofy, and incredibly affectionate 🤗 Snuggles are elite. Highly recommend. I’m crate trained, potty trained, love toys  🧸 , and do great with other dogs. I currently free feed with zero food aggression and happily share space with all different dogs with different personalities, which my foster mom says is a pretty big deal 😊 I’m social, polite, and genuinely enjoy canine companionship 🐾Because I’m a big guy, introductions should be done thoughtfully but I’ve shown over and over that I know how to coexist respectfully. I know you cat people want to know how I am with cats and well I don’t have a cat willing to be tested with me so your guess is as good as mine 😉 your getting me at the best time in my life, I’ve skipped the destructive puppy phase and gone straight to the good stuff. I still have plenty of life, love, and energy I just come with manners, patience, and a deep appreciation for naps  💤 Dogs like me are the hidden gems 💎 We already know how to love deeply, we don’t need to figure out how to be a dog, and we’re incredibly grateful for our second chance 🥹 I’m living proof that adopting an adult dog is not sad, it’s rewarding.  So If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will love you with his whole soul, make you laugh daily, and be your constant shadow, I might be your guy. Hope to meet ya soon! ☺️ Love, Scout 🧡 📍Frisco, Texas! Transport Available! 🚙 💌Please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com  🐾

Story
Dear Future Family, Our names are Rose and Reba ♥️ We don’t know your names yet, but we already hope you’re kind, patient, and maybe a little obsessed with dogs, because that would work out really well for all of us 🥹 We’re five and six year old Rottweiler girls who have done life side by side for as long as we can remember ☺️ Same walks, same beds, same “did you hear that noise?” moments 🙃 When we landed in a high kill shelter together and found ourselves on the euthanasia list together we held on separately but somehow, we made it out together, thankfully because doing hard things alone just didn’t feel like an option 💕 People think we may be mom and daughter. Rose being the mom and Reba being the kid and honestly that makes a lot of sense. We love each other deeply, but like kids sometimes do they want your attention 😅 Not in a mean way just in a hey, don’t forget about me too kind of way 🤗 Because of that, we might do best as the only dogs in a home if we stay together, so we can soak up all the love without having to share our humans. Individually We’re great with other dogs and fit in just fine🐾 We actually even got adopted together, and for a little while, we thought we were home for good 🥹 Turns out going from zero dogs to two Rottweilers is a big jump. No one was wrong, it was just a lot. So here we are again, trying to be brave, wagging anyway, believing our story isn’t done yet 📖✏️ We’re actually pretty easy girls. We love walks, naps, soft beds, and being wherever you are 💕 If you sit, we’ll sit closer. If you move rooms, we’ll follow. Personal space is going to have to be flexible in our household. We’re sweet with kids, friendly with other dogs, and very serious about our job as loyal companions. Cats, however, should probably keep their distance we admire them a little too much from afar 🐈‍⬛👀 If you have the experience and heart for two Rottweilers, we would love to stay together. We know how to share a couch, a water bowl, and a lifetime of inside jokes 😆 But if our forever looks like two separate homes with the right people, we understand that too 😊 What matters most is finally knowing we won’t have to pack our bags again 🧳 We’re not puppies anymore. We just want to spend the rest of our years loving someone who loves us back just as hard. If you choose us so whether that means one of us or both of us we promise devotion, laughter, warm cuddles, and at least one dramatic Rottweiler lean per day. Probably more. We don’t measure those 📏♥️ We hope our future family is reading this and we hope to meet you soon! Love, Rose & Reba 🖤🐾 📍Houston , Texas Transport is available 🚙 💌Please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com

Story
Hello it’s me Harlow 🩷 A Professional sunbather ☀️Part time fetch champion 🎾Full time good girl 😊 Let me tell you about myself before I steal your heart 💕 I’m 3 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and I came from a high kill shelter in Houston but I’m ready to leave that chapter behind 📖and start my soft dog life era 🤗 I love laying in the sun like I said, My favorite hobby is playing fetch with my squeaky ball yes, it must squeak or what’s the point? I love Walks, I can hang for a short run but I’m a Rottweiler not a border collie so walking is better 😥 Im not a huge fan of my paws being touching I think feet and paws are weird and honestly kind of gross if you think about it. Please don’t make it awkward for either of us 🥴 I do have a strong squirrel security patrol instinct 🐿️ If it runs, I notice 👀 If it sprints, I am emotionally invested 👁️Cats are still a mystery to me 🧐 I’m crate trained, know my commands, and I wait very politely for my meals like a lady 🥰 I don’t bark much, don’t counter surf ☺️ your snacks are safe 🍿🥨 and I’m trusted with free roam during the day because I make excellent life choices ☺️ I walk nicely on leash and live with a big male Rottie who makes my 88lbs self seem small ⚖️ I’m obsessed with car rides 🚗 I love adventure 🗺️ I am great with other dogs and do best with older, respectful kids who understand personal space and a good premium belly rub technique 😁 If you’re looking for a low drama, adventure loving, sun worshipping, squeaky ball obsessed best friend, apply for me 💕 🐾Please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com if approved PM! 📍Dallas, Texas 🚗TRANSPORT AVAILABLE

Story
Hi. Hello. It’s me. Ferdinand 💙 Yes, that Ferdinand, the one who stops to smell the flowers… and then accidentally knocks over the vase because I forgot I’m 85 pounds 🫣 Let’s get the important stuff out of the way! I’m a 1 year old Rottie/Doberman, neutered, house trained, crate trained, heartworm negative, fully vetted, and very much a good boy ☺️ I love men 🙋‍♂️, women 🙋‍♀️, dogs🐶, car rides 🚙, couch romping 🛋️, and carrying my babies 🧸 (small stuffed animals that are my emotional support children). Oh, and my babies? They go everywhere! Crate, Couch, Yard, and Kennel room If you find a stuffed animal in your shoe 👞 that was me. You’re welcome 😉 Now let me tell you my glow up story ✨ When the rescue tagged me, I was in rough shape 😔 Like, unrecognizable. My legs were swollen, my skin was bleeding, I couldn’t even hardly walk on my own, I was quiet, defeated, and tired in a way no dog should ever be🥺 What happened to me wasn’t an accident. It was neglect 😔 the kind that doesn’t happen overnight, but over time when basic care, comfort, and love are missing. I had been hurting for a long time, and it showed in every step I struggled to take! Nobody knew what I’d turn into. Honestly… I didn’t either 😕 But then my foster stepped in and worked actual magic 🪄 Healing, patience, love, and consistency later 💥 boom. Here I am! Healthy, Happy, and Handsome ☺️Night and day difference 🌙🌞 I enjoy chest scratches, belly rubs, and very serious snuggle sessions that last approximately 10 seconds before I dramatically exit✌️I have a Medium energy level making me perfect for anyone! I love walks, learning the neighborhood, playing with dog friends, and then collapsing on the couch like I just ran a marathon 💨Whoever adopts me is going to be one incredibly lucky family 🍀You’re not just getting a dog! you’re getting a survivor, a comedian, a professional couch romping specialist, and the most loyal shadow you’ve ever had 🥰 So… what do you think? I’ll bring my babies 🧸 You bring the couch! 📍Houston,Texas 🚙Willing to travel for treats!!! 🥰Please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com

Story
Hi hi hiiii, I’m Isaac, your future best friend and professional heart thief 💙 I’m a three-month-old Rottweiler puppy, which basically means I’m built like a tiny tank but powered by zoomies, snacks, and snuggles 🥰 I’m equal parts spunky, sweet, and snuggly, with just enough goofy charm to keep you laughing every single day ☺️ All my siblings have already been adopted, lucky ducks 🦆, but my rescue wanted to make sure I had my big checkup at OSU first so we could understand exactly what I need to grow big and strong 💪 Turns out I’m just a little extra special. I have some musculoskeletal quirks, but nothing slows me down. I wake up every day with a wagging tail and a let’s do this attitude ☺️ The really important thing to know is that my life expectancy is expected to be the same as other Rottweilers, and this is not anticipated to be costly for my adopter. I just need a family who understands my lifestyle and helps me grow the smart way ❤️ In my foster home, I absolutely adore my foster sister Bella 💕 I follow her everywhere like her slightly smaller, slightly more dramatic shadow. She shows me how to be brave, and I show her how to make every activity more fun. I’ve learned stairs, yard zoomies, and how to tackle new things head on. Watching me try something new is basically a motivational speech in puppy form 🥹 Now let’s talk about my lifestyle because I am what you might call a low impact athlete. I should avoid high jumping, roughhousing, and launching myself off furniture like a furry superhero. Instead, I’m into short, leash controlled walks and controlled adventures ⚠️ Think casual strolls, not extreme sports 🏀 I rock a chest harness for walks because it keeps pressure off my neck and helps protect my growing body and brain 🧠 As I grow, my family will need to watch for things like wobbliness, weakness, or any changes in how I move. If I ever seem uncomfortable or have trouble walking, I’ll need a vet to check me right away. I may benefit from physical rehabilitation with a certified canine rehab practitioner to help strengthen my muscles and improve mobility. Think of it as puppy personal training. No chiropractic work for me though, my team says that is a no go 🙅 Food wise, I’ll be on a good quality commercial diet that is not too high in protein. We want steady, healthy growth, not giant overnight Rottie growth. Slow and steady wins the race 🏁 especially for a handsome guy with some musculoskeletal quirks. And speaking of growing up, my neuter will wait until after I turn two years old. That gives my bones and joints time to fully mature 🦴 My hormones have an important job right now, building this sturdy frame 🖼️ Here is the most important part. I am resilient, brave, and full of life ❤️ I try everything at least once. Every small victory feels huge 🤗 I don’t see obstacles, I see opportunities for extra praise and maybe a treat. I love attention, pets, and praise, and when playtime is over, I happily melt into your lap like I was always meant to be there 🫠 If you are looking for a loyal, loving, slightly goofy, incredibly determined best friend who will face the world by your side, I’m your guy. I may be the last of my litter still waiting, but that just means I have been saving all this love just for you 💙
