Meet Abby! This beautiful 8-month-old, 33-pound princess is truly the most adorable and cute little girl you'll ever meet. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washignton. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Animal Information: Dumpling is a 1-year-old bully mix that weighs 50lbs. She was seized from a property in Louisiana with too many dogs. Our rescue partner couldn’t ignore her sweet face and full-body wags, so they had to meet her—and we’re so glad they did. Dumpling has done well with both large and small dogs. She’s friendly, playful, and happy to meet new people. She has soft, easy body language and enjoys play, while also respecting when another dog says they’ve had enough. She’s a sweet, social girl who deserves a loving home, and we’re excited to help her find that here in the PNW. Foster Profile: Dumpling is a sweet, playful girl who loves playtime just as much as a good nap. She can be cautious in new situations, but warms up quickly with patience and treats. She’s potty trained, walks nicely on leash, does well in her crate, and knows “sit.” She’s still working on her manners (including keeping her paws off the counters!). With proper introductions, Dumpling is doing well with our resident dog. She can get excited and fixated when she sees people or dogs on walks, so she’ll need someone willing to continue working with her on staying calm and disengaging. At home, she loves being chased, playing tug, and chewing on rope toys. After some playtime, she’s happy to curl up next to you and nap. Animal Information: Molly Moo Cow was a last minute addition to our transport with Taillights Rescue Project. Molly won our hearts with her soft eyes, happy tail, and squishy body. She was confiscated from a property that had several other dogs, but she was hidden away in a back room. Molly passed her dog to dog testing with flying colors, and she loves everyone she meets. Foster Profile: Molly is a lovable goofball who hasn’t met a stranger - human or dog - that she doesn’t like! What she lacks in grace, she makes up for in enthusiasm. She’s quick to ask for pets and doesn’t quite understand that she’s not a 9lb lap dog. In other words, she’s a huge cuddler and wants to be close to her people. Molly LOVES toys and has loved learning tug. We’re currently working on an ’out’ command as we believe this will be helpful for Molly to learn in play. Molly is young and still learning that all found objects are not chew toys, so it’s best not to leave things out on the floor for now. Molly is a quick learner and has picked up on our routine without any issues. She’s crate trained, potty trained and we’re working on leash manners every day on our walks. She likes to follow us around in the house and romp around in the yard but will also happily lay down in one of the dog beds for a nap or to chew on a toy. Molly has been great with our resident dogs. She would love to play with them if they would oblige but gets the hint when they’re not into it and gives them space. Though we believe Molly would love to have another playful dog in her future home, we also think she would do ok as an only dog.
