I’m the longest resident at the shelter, since February 2025. When I first arrived, I was underweighting and had a pretty bad skin infection. I’m now receiving treatment and an special diet to help me feel my very best and I’m currently in a foster home where I’m getting the love and care I deserve. I’m a very sweet, playful boy who’s ready to find a forever home that will love and take care of me. I’m mostly indifferent just a little shy around cats. Aggie is naturally timid and unsure about new people, but if you sit quietly with her, she slowly begins to trust—offering gentle kisses and allowing pets.She’s a curious girl who likes to quietly follow her humans around the house, making her a sweet, silent shadow during daily activities. Aggie would thrive with a confident canine companion who can help show her that people are safe. She’s beginning to explore toys, and we think she’ll discover her playful side with a little more time.Aggie also has some classic “wrinkly dog” skin sensitivities and will need an owner who can help her care for her coat and keep her comfortable. This tender-hearted girl just needs patience, love, and stability to truly shine.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.

Hi! My name is Bandit and I am a 2-year old happy Boxer mix who loves to play and cuddle. I really enjoy chew toys and love to play games of tug of war and fetching balls. Car rides are so much fun too. I also love to snuggle up with my person and will follow my person everywhere. I know how to sit and stay but I am a little stubborn when I am asked to come when my person calls me. My person needs to rehome me because I am told I am just too much for my person to handle at her age and need someone who can spend more time with me and train me to be the best dog I can be. I am really smart but need socialization training and although I love to go on walks, I am very strong-willed and need a firm hand and discipline training while taking walks. I love kids and get along well with larger dogs but do not get along well with small dogs, cats or any small animals so I may do best as an only dog or as a single brother to another dog my size.
