No small kids.  Cookie is small so we prefer older, respectful kids. Her owner was unable to care for her and the lack of grooming led to issues with peeing.  She developed a bladder stone, which was removed but the vet indicates she should remain on over-the-counter urinary support food for the rest of her life. Age:  4 years Weight: 11 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, older respectful kids. Training: Housetrained, crate-trained,  Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions:    http://loramyers51@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Mocha is a very sweet dog and craves lots of attention and play time. He has been my constant companion the last three years. As work and elder parental responsibilities have grown I have less time for him. He deserves the best home with very loving and caring dog owners. He is very active and loves a good game of fetch, treats and a tummy rub. He is used to being the only dog but will make a friend of other dogs in time. Mocha needs a really good loving home. You will find him extremely loyal and willing to wait in the rain for you to fetch the garbage can (even though he hates being wet). He is very loving and has been treated very well so please only apply if you are willing and able to do the same. Thank you.
