We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. Ozzy is a sweet little Shih Tzu who is about 5 years old. He loves other dogs, he plays wonderfully but also loves to cuddle. He is in a foster home with 2 other shih tzus and a pitty and he loves them all. He loves his humans too and loves to cuddle on the couch with them. He had an injury to one of his eyes before he came into our rescue, so his eye is cloudy. It doesn't bother him and his vision is limited in that eye, but he gets along fine. He has been neutered and is fully vetted. He is living in a home with 3 other male dogs. He would make a wonderful addition to a home where they would be home with him and provide him with a lot of love and attention.
