ElliotShih tzuMaleDOB:12/30/22Adoption Fee: $300Meet Elliot he is a sweet and spunky boy, He loves to play and receive lots of cuddles. He's honestly perfect for any home. Although he is heartworm positive but don't worry we're covering his treatment so he can still be adopted! But a home that's able to keep him calm would be best. Elliot is good with other dogs and enjoys his play time. He walks great on a leash and is really an all around good boy. So what are you waiting for and go ahead and claim this sweet boy! Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Hi, I'm Oscar! Quiet home. Adult humans. One or two favorite people — that’s my dream. I need a little time to trust and I’m not into being picked up by strangers, but once you’re my person? I’m a cuddle guy and will choose you every time. I prefer calm spaces, no little kids, and people who respect my boundaries over food and toys. I lost my home when my owner lost her apartment — kinda bad luck since trust is hard for me. I’d be an amazing companion for someone retired or living a peaceful life who wants a loyal, deeply bonded best friend. Patient hearts only please — but, I’m worth it.  Age: 5 years Weight:  18 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, patient adults, no small kids  Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, has basic training Vetting: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative __ To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application ( www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption ) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees. December 17, 2025, 4:37 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Shiro – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Next Loving Home Meet Shiro, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu with a gentle heart and perfect manners. He is extremely friendly with kids, dogs, and strangers—very social, playful, and always eager to please. Shiro is obedient, never aggressive, and rarely barks (only at unfamiliar sounds or the occasional animal on TV). He is fully potty trained and clearly communicates his needs for food, water, and potty breaks. Shiro is low-maintenance and never demanding, yet he enjoys occasional attention and affection. He loves running around the backyard chasing leaves and happily playing with kids and other dogs. He has been a loving child to our family, and with a heavy heart, we are looking to rehome him as we are relocating out of the country. We hope to find caring parents who can provide him the same love, comfort, and safe home he deserves. Looking for a gentle, friendly, well-mannered companion? Shiro could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Rosie Quinn is a super sweet, very mellow, little Shih Tzu and general all-around good girl.    Rosie Quinn is 3 years old and is just over 12 pounds. Her energy level is low to moderate, though she does have the occasional zoomies, and she’s always very excited when you return home.   She is gentle, polite and calm, has excellent house manners (no chewing shoes or household items), and is potty trained.    Rosie Quinn gets along with other dogs with proper introductions; she used to live with two other Shih Tzus. She walks and follows well on a leash. She seems to do fine riding in the car, but did grow restless after a long drive. She is a guardian and will growl or alert bark if she hears anyone unfamiliar come around; she does not normally bark otherwise.    Rosie Quinn is friendly, great with touching and a cuddle bug. She acts shy, but warms up quickly; she especially loves her people and just wants to be around them and keep them company. Pets, belly rubs and head scratches are always welcome; if you’re busy, like working from home for example, she’ll sit on the couch or the bed and just chill with you while looking cute.    Rosie Quinn doesn’t know any commands! We are starting to work on basic ones, but she will likely need training to learn and reinforce those. She is only mildly interested in kibble, but loves treats of all kinds, so her motivation can be directed into training.    Rosie Quinn would love to meet you!    An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          January 20, 2026, 11:37 am

Story
Meet Cassie Quinn, a 7.5 year-old, Shih Tzu, 15-pound, bundle of joy who brightens every room she enters! This happy girl is always smiling - she grins with her whole face and keeps her tongue out like she’s posing for a photo. Her joy is contagious, and she’ll fill your home with love and laughter. Cassie adores being outside, going for walks, and running playful laps around the house during her daily zoomies. A fenced yard or plenty of indoor space to romp around would make her happiest, but not ra must. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys both leisurely strolls and bursts of playful energy. She is great on long car rides, either enjoying the scenery or napping. When it’s time to relax, Cassie loves lounging on her pet bed or playing quietly with her toys. She’s crate trained and sometimes tucks herself in at night, though she’s perfectly fine sleeping outside her crate too. Cassie is also both potty and pee-pad trained. She gets along well with small and medium dogs and previously lived with two Shih Tzus. Cassie would also be happy as an only dog. As long as she is cared for and loved, this little gal will be a happy little camper. Cassie is friendly with men, women, and kids of all ages, though she’s a bit shy at first and needs a moment to warm up. She’s best with families or active seniors who enjoy walks but can assist her with stairs—she manages short step-downs fine but can’t climb full flights. Cassie Quinn is a cheerful, affectionate companion who’s ready to share her endless smiles with a loving family—her happiness truly shines from the inside out!
