I work as a veterinary nurse and one of my clients needed a foster as they moved to China. They could not afford the health certificate to bring Maddie with them, so we took her into our home. She has been living with us since July 2025 and still has not fully adjusted to my dog (they do get along okay, though). She is also not well trained and does use the bathroom in the house. She is admittedly a very stubborn dog. She does have a healthy apatite and is very food motivated, fortunately. We just do not think we are a compatible family for her and would prefer to avoid taking her to a shelter.
