Story
MEET BRADY:
Brady is a sweet 1-year-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. He was found as a stray in Detroit and, although never reclaimed, has blossomed in his foster home after some initial fear in the loud shelter environment.
Brady is social and friendly, especially with other dogs, and he gets along well with cats too! He would thrive in a home without children as he really would rather be around a more mature audience. Sadly, Brady doesn't always greet men in a positive manner so he will need either a very patient man in his life or a female-only environment.
He enjoys giving and receiving attention and loves to go for walks, where his curious nose leads the way—though he can get a little excited and pull on the leash as he explores all the amazing smells around him. Brady can be vocal when crated and might sometimes be a bit too disruptive for tightly-knit communities (ex: apartment, condo, etc).
Because of his breed mix, Brady will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who’s ready to find his forever home, Brady just might be the perfect match!

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.
While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
