Story
Meet Bentley!
Bentley is a 6-month-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix (DOB: 7/2/25) weighing about 10 lbs, and he’s ready to find his furever family! This sweet boy came into rescue when his owner could no longer care for him, and he’s been winning hearts ever since.
Bentley can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his loving and affectionate personality shines. He bonds closely with his people and enjoys being part of the family. He does well with other dogs and has also done well around cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet home. Because he’s still young and learning, Bentley would do best with dog-savvy children who understand puppy manners.
He has a good foundation with house manners and is crate trained, but as a puppy, he’ll need a consistent routine to continue building good habits. Bentley is just starting to learn about leash walks, so a home with a physical fenced yard would be ideal for safe play and exercise while he’s gaining confidence. He rides well in the car and would love an active family that can keep up with his playful puppy energy.
As a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, Bentley will require regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best.
Bentley is searching for a family who will be patient, loving, and ready to commit to him for life. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion to grow with, Bentley may be your perfect match

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.
While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
