Story
Meet Angel! Fostered in East TN out of state welcome. Transport to the Great Lakes or north east is available and included in her adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders for all of our pet transport needs because they have been the best with our pets for years. This little sweetie is owner surrender along with her two sisters (chiweenies) their owner could not longer properly care for them. She’s a sweet girl who would be content to go for a walk and play a bit and then chill with you on the couch. She is not a high energy girl. She’s very laid back. She seems to want to match your energy but hiking would probably not be her thing. Now camping and relaxing heck yeah she would love that. Great with most other dogs and ok with cats. We would suggest older children that can respect her space. Her Favorite thing to do is sit on your lap or next to you on a chair and she stands up in her back legs for belly rubs she is absolutely adorable. She will use a potty pad if available but we have been allowing her ample time outside to do her potty business and she has done well. Apply at Petpath.org

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Story
🎱❤️🎱 ADOPT ME 🎱❤️🎱 Meet Bumper! He’s needs a family to call his own. Bumper was found as a stray a few weeks back in the bitter cold. It was apparent he hadn’t been cared for. Moving forward he has soaked up the love in his foster home. Bumper is somewhat of a special needs guy. He seems to have some deformities to at least one of his legs. We’ve had him checked out and the cause is unknown, could be birth defects. He gets around well considering his feet flip under occasionally. He’s a fragile little dude, but he loves to be carried so all is good! Bumper stats - 🖤 Bumper is a Shih Tzu, male, 10lbs ❤️ He gets along well with all other animals, but due to his tiny stature he should only be placed with gentle friends 🖤 He’s all Shih Tzu personality, demanding, stubborn at times, dramatic, cuddly, loving, grumpy when he’s had enough, quirky, etc. If you love the breed, you’ll love him! ❤️ We are unsure of his exact age, his teeth are an excellent condition, which indicates he’s young, some of the neglect he suffered may have taken a toll on his appearance 🖤 Kids 12 & up ❤️ He’s not the athletic type, he mostly enjoys laying on the couch, cuddling and being carried around. Limited exercise for this guy! 🖤 Special needs dogs are not for everyone, but if you have had one before you know how special they are. They rely on their caregiver greatly. If you want to pup to put in a stroller, purse, take around with you, he’s your man! ❤️ Bumper does not require any meds or treatment for his deformity at this time If you’re interested in having Bumper join your journey in life, fill out an application - Email us for one or visit our website for an electronic version - 🎱 www.Canineliberationleague.com 🎱 Canineliberationleague@gmail.com Bumper is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, fecal & heartworm tested. 📍LOCATION - South Lyon, MI ❤️🖤PLEASE SHARE TO HELP BUMPER🖤❤️

Story
MEET SANDY: Age: 2 years old  Weight: 9 lbs  Breed: Shih Tzu   Sandy's journey has not been an easy one. After losing her beloved owner, she found herself in a high-kill shelter, leaving her feeling scared and unsure. To help her feel better, her overgrown coat was trimmed down, removing painful mats and tangles. Sandy may be shy and quiet at first, but she is an adorable little soul with so much love to give once she feels safe. Sandy is a gentle and submissive girl who needs a patient and understanding adopter. She tends to bond more quickly with women and may take some time to warm up to new people. Due to her past experiences, she can be head shy and will thrive in a calm environment. She would not be an ideal candidate for an inexperienced pet owner. Sandy would do best in a home without children, where she can feel secure and cherished. A physically fenced yard is ideal for her, as it allows her to explore her surroundings safely while she builds confidence. Sandy has lived with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. If you have gentle, well-mannered pets, Sandy could adapt well. Sandy is a low-energy dog who enjoys curling up for some cozy lap time. Though she is not vocal, she will seek attention and affection when she begins to feel comfortable. Sandy has good house manners and is crate trained. She did well during grooming, which is important as a breed like her will require regular visits to a groomer. Sandy is a sweet little companion who deserves a second chance at happiness. With patience and love, she will flourish and become the loving lap dog you've always wanted. If you’re ready to open your heart (and lap) to this charming girl, Sandy could be a great addition to your family! If you're interested in adopting Sandy and giving her the forever home she deserves, please apply today!  Sandy is:Current on Rabies and DistemperDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedSpayedADOPTION FEE: $375 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI.
