We hate having to surrender such a good friend, but our own health issues make it necessary. We would love to see him find a loving home and appreciate your efforts in accomplishing that.

Lilly is a wonderful companion for someone with an active lifestyle. She would thrive with a family that enjoys spending time outdoors, as she has plenty of energy and would make an excellent jogging or hiking buddy. Lilly can be selective when it comes to other dogs. While she may not get along well with unfamiliar dogs, she can become friendly with them once she's had time to get to know them through slow, positive introductions. At mealtime, she does best being fed separately from other dogs to help her feel comfortable and avoid any food-related conflicts. With the right family who can provide regular exercise, patience, and understanding, Lilly has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion.

🐾 Meet Onyx – Looking for His Forever Home 🐾It is with mixed emotions we are seeking a new home for our sweet boy. Onyx is a 6-year-old, fun-loving, energetic dog who likes to snuggle and still thinks he's a puppy at times! He loves to play, enjoys attention, and has a big personality that will keep you smiling. We welcomed him into our family during the COVID pandemic after getting him from a breeder in the Lincoln, PA area. During that time, we had plenty of time for training, daily walks, playtime, and giving him all the attention he deserved.As life has changed, so have our schedules. Between busy lifestyles and increased work travel, we've come to the difficult realization that we can no longer give Onyx the time and activity he truly deserves.Our greatest wish is to find him a loving, caring family, preferably one with children, where he can receive the love, playtime, and companionship he thrives on.

Meet Kane: Kane is about a 5 year old (as of August 2026) Shih Tzu / pug mix (best guess) that weighs about 10 pounds. Kane was surrendered to a northern Mississippi shelter by his owner. Kane was terribly matted and wasn't terribly fond of being touched when he was dropped off. Our guess is the owner didn't want to pay for a grooming and preferred to surrender him instead and he was very uncomfortable. Kane is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Kane went to a groomer immediately and is now all cleaned up and comfortable. Once Kane was groomed and situated, he turned into a very affectionate little lap dog that is not the least bit reluctant to being touched or petted or even staying put for the groomer. Kane is a wonderful little dog that gets along with everyone and every dog. Kane will need grooming throughout his life and we want to be sure his new family understands that so he doesn’t endure the discomfort he went through in the past. Kane is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need patience while learning a new process. We would love for Kane to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play freely, but it is not a requirement. Kane is up to date on his shots and neutered.
