She is best suited for a home with older children who can respect her space. She’s affectionate, social, and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be spoiled and adored. Imara was found as a stray in very rough condition, suffering from severe chemical burns on her back, a heavy flea infestation, and significant matting with hair loss. She has healed beautifully and while she does have a scar down her back from the burns, it is barely noticeable with her hair grown out. She was born with an underdeveloped eye which does not slow her down at all or require extra care. Noel is a 12-year-old Lhasa Apso who is RESCUE ONLY due to her age and medical needs. She was surrendered to the shelter in very poor condition. Because Noel was already blind and had severe discharge and infection in both eyes, the shelter made the medical decision to enucleate both eyes to relieve her pain and improve her comfort. She also received a full dental cleaning and polishing, with no teeth needing removal. Despite everything she has been through, Noel deserves a safe, quiet place where she can heal and enjoy her golden years with patience and love.
