Story
💙 Meet Neo — A Loving, Healthy Companion Looking for His Person Neo is an 11-year-old Domestic Shorthair with beautiful Siamese/Snowshoe colorpoint markings and an even more beautiful soul. He has been super healthy his entire life and has lived in one calm, loving home since he was just one month old. He’s an indoor-only cat who has always known safety, routine, and affection. Neo is exceptionally affectionate and loving. He forms deep emotional bonds and truly connects with his person. He isn’t just a pet — he’s a companion. If you adopt Neo, you will be his world, just as his person has always been his world. This decision is not about Neo. He is deeply loved. Due to an overseas move, I can no longer give him the continuity and calm he deserves. My greatest hope is to find him one special home where he will be cherished and loved for who he is.

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Sydney is a 5 year old Flamepoint Siamese and he is the sweetest boy ever. He is vocal, affectionate, and loving. He did test positive for FIV but he is very healthy otherwise. He would like to be your one and only pet, as he likes to be the king of the castle. He had a rough start to life and still has some trauma he is mentally healing from, but he has a lot of faith in his humans and wants to trust you completely, he will just need someone who is patient and cat experienced. He would enjoy a soft bed and cat tree to sleep and lounge on. He would love to cuddle with his new person in bed at night. He is a people kitty, he likes to conversate with you about his day and is eager to hear about yours. He would be a great companion for someone who works from home or is retired as he always loves to be right next to his human. Do you think Sydney could be the guy you've been searching for? He would love to meet you. Apply to adopt this gorgeous blue-eyed boy today. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.November 5, 2024, 9:13 pm

Story
This 3-yr-old sweet, but slightly sassy, snugglebug is looking for her forever home where she can be loved & adored as the pampered princess she is. She was found in the backyard, but it quickly became obvious that this was a indoor kitty at heart with lots of love to give to her preferred humans (unfortunately, we already have 3 indoor cats of our own, and can't keep her). She's a little nervous around new people still, but has been gaining confidence and learning to be brave. Her favorite activities are snuggling by her human's side, watching birds through the window (but no more being outside with them, thank you very much!), and getting treats. She's learning how to play, and has discovered balls that go round & fuzzy toys that move - what fun! She may be okay with other adult cats, as long as they're mellow and not in-her-face types, but kittens & other high strung females are probably not a good fit. Adoption fee will go to support the Homeless Cat Network.

Story
Beanie was a stray. She came to our home and was attracted to our birds (though we'd never actually let her play with them for obvious reasons). We have other cats in the home, so we advise slowly introducing them to each other through closed doors to get them used to each other. Beanie is a very talkative girl! Very sweet and very cute. When we took her in, we had all her shots updated. Beanie is currently 7 months old. We aren't able to afford anymore cats in the home, so we have to put her up for adoption. I hope whoever adopts her will spend some quality time with her. She loves climbing, so I hope they also have places to climb, as well as places to hide. I put unknown for "good with other cats" since she's young, so I can't say she's up for playing around with older cats until she's at least bigger and 1 years. She does get nervous during car rides.

Story
Avi is the sweetest lover cat! She is definitely shy and skiddish at first, but once she warms up, she is a cuddle bug. She is 10 years old but still young at heart. She loves to play fetch with her mouse. Unfortunately I cannot keep her due to living situations, but she will bring love and warmth wherever she is

Story
Meet Firefly — a bright spark of energy and charm! This confident, playful boy lives up to his name with his lively spirit and curiosity that lights up every room. Firefly loves to play, especially with his favorite ball toys. You’ll often catch him stalking, pouncing, and chasing them around like a tiny panther on a mission. He’s also a big fan of food puzzles, which keep his sharp mind and food motivation happily occupied! Firefly is social and easygoing with people and adapts quickly to new situations. He’s great with both cats and dogs — he can comfortably share space, food, and naps with them. After a day full of fun, Firefly likes to curl up on the bed with his humans or lounge on a cat tree for a cozy snooze. Firefly would thrive in an active home that loves interactive playtime and has other furry friends to keep him company. If you’re looking for a clever, confident, and entertaining companion, Firefly will make every day feel a little more alive. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. To meet him, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptDecember 29, 2025, 8:09 am
