Story
FOSTER OR ADOPT:  Sterling is a gorgeous (and big!) Siamese mix, born in approximately March 2018. He's intelligent, lovable, sweet, funny, and an all-around awesome kitty! He loves being around people and would thrive with an adopter who works from home, so he can enjoy companionship throughout the day. Sterling needs to be an only cat; we do not know if he has ever been around dogs. Sterling is FIV positive, but FIV+ cats can live just as long and happy, healthy a life as kitties who are not diagnosed positive.  For more information about fostering or adopting Sterling, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at angusnfriends@outlook.com.  All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.  June 29, 2026, 9:27 pm

Story
Tvli is a timid but sweet boy who will love someone who can give him endless attention. Tvli’s history has a lot of unknowns but here is what we do know: he’s probably around 7 or 8 years old. He has been rehomed in his youth about 3-4 times after being taken in from the streets of Hawai’i. I took him in three years ago as an emergency foster. Tvli is a cat who knows what he wants (your love and affection) and doesn’t want (other animals in the household). He needs a household with a lot of patience and ability to care for his medical needs (anxiety, allergies, urinary care). He is on gabapentin and has shown a lot of improvement. He has been a fully inside cat in my care, but could probably benefit for having an outdoor space to explore. I’m looking for someone who wants a devoted cat but is also familiar with caring for difficult conditions. He’s pretty cuddly when he gets to know you and goofy at all times

Story
Petie is an extra large cool drink of chocolate milk. He has the look of a Siamese cat mixed with a pot-bellied pig because of his little corkscrew tail. He is a gentle and easygoing guy who loves to cuddle with his people on the couch. This tall dreamy boy likes to look deep into your soul with his baby blue eyes. He also appreciates treats and likes to play a little.    Petie would do well in a home with adults or with cat savvy kids over the age of eight. He has lived with dogs before and would be OK with a calm dog. He has lived as a solo cat as well as with other cats and gets along well with everyone. We estimate Petie was born around August 11, 2019. Kitty Bio #581LRo-Pe. â–¶ï¸ scroll down for clips If you're interested in adopting Buster, or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.  June 29, 2026, 9:30 pm

Story
At the very beginning of Lily's life, someone was nice to her. If a kitten isn't handled regularly between about four to eight weeks of age, they usually become feral and untouchable. But someone touched Lily. In the summer of 2025, Lily showed up in the scrapyard of a factory in East Oakland. She was only about four months old. Lily started making regular appearances at the 5 pm feeding of the factory's feral cat colony. Lily initially spent most of her time hiding, as she was scared of the other, bigger cats. Over time, Lily started coming closer and closer to the person who fed her. Finally, one day she let that person pet her and bring her to her foster home. Lily is now fostered in a loving home, and it has been fun watching her blossom into a house cat. Everything about indoor life was new to her, but as Lily has gotten more relaxed and confident, she has started showing her rambunctious kitten energy and playfulness! Lily loves to run, play, look at birds, and cuddle with you in bed. Lily will do best in a calm, patient home, where has time to settle in and get to know her people. Lily can be quite shy with new people at first, but is easily won over by a Churu treat! Lily would do well as an only cat, as long as her human(s) are home a lot and she gets plenty of playtime. She would likely do well with an easygoing, playful cat companion who can help build her confidence as an indoor cat, given the proper introduction. Lily has not been around children or dogs, but she may do well with gentle children age 12+. Her estimated date of birth is April 1, 2025. Kitty Bio #1022KM-Li. â–¶ï¸ scroll down for clips If you're interested in adopting Lily, or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to.June 29, 2026, 9:30 pm
