Story
Nate is a suave, easy-going guy with super soft fur and a love for cheek and forehead scratches. He adores his people and loves to sit in laps. Nate is an affectionate, curious and playful guy —showing his playful spirit and zest for life. He is timid with new people or changes to his living space so he will do best with a family and home that has experience and patience and the willingness to encourage a timid cat and support him through his adjustment to a new home and people. It will be worth the effort and won't take him long to show his personality and charm. Nate may do fine with a cat-friendly dog but we think he should be the solo cat in his home because he can be a bit of a bully to other felines. Nate is FIV+ but is in good health and is expected to live a normal life, both in quality and duration. Estimate birth date is early 2022. Kitty Bio# 3876MB-Na.   If you're interested in adopting this or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.  May 27, 2024, 5:16 am

Story
Apple is a big sweet kitty with an even bigger personality. He is a handsome lynx point Siamese tabby mix with a short tail. He is a strong alpha male. He can’t help but be the center of attention because he is vocal, social and engaging. Apple is smart, independent, and doesn’t hesitate to add his opinion. While not a cuddler, he loves being petted. He will be more your equal and companion than your fur baby. He likes to interact and play with other cats and toys. Apple must be on a prescription diet to prevent urinary blockage. The diet has kept it well under control and will be necessary for the rest of his life. His ideal guardian or family is one with experience reading cat body language and who can be confident and firm with him as well as gentle to gain his trust. He needs an adults only home preferably with another cat and would probably be OK with a calm dog. Estimated birth date is September 2020. Story
Tinsel is hoping there is a family out there in need of a fairy that has taken the form of a cat.&#10 Like most mythical creatures he likes to stay completely hidden most of the time. Other times he is an all-seeing eye that watches the activities of the humans below.&#10 He does not like to be looked upon or photographed. And then, inexplicably, he might prove his existence by suddenly appearing on the conference table.&#10 Tinsel has lived in the cupboards at FAAS for a long time, and though we love him, we think he`s ready to admit that it gets a little too quiet at night all alone in an office building.&#10 Do you have space in your pantry to fit a feline with extreme social anxiety? Tinsel would not like to meet you - but he would love to move in.&#10 &#10 * 8 years old&#10 * 10 lbs&#10 * Calico mix&#10 * Well-groomed&#10 * Pretty blue eyes&#10 * People, dogs, other cats, other pets not okay. However, he might change his mind.

Story
Due to relocating issue, I can no longer keep my cat. He is 8 yrs old, very sweet, loves to cuddle and is well behaved. He is a purebred Siamese with a wonderful personality. He is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he is very loving. Vaccinated and neutered. He does have some asthma issues so he must be in a clean environment. I am looking to find someone lovely that truly loves cats and will give him a forever home. I can also give away his automatic feeder/water bowl. Please contact if you are interested!

Story
Hi! We're Cadbury and Hershey! We were rescued in Doha, Qatar. We were rescued from a colony where a caring human was feeding us and other kitties. She fell in love with us and knew we needed to get off the streets and into a safe and loving home so she took us to a sanctuary where we flourished and showed just how pawsome we are. Then we went to a doctor to be vetted and that’s when they found out we’re FIV+. Unfortunately humans in Qatar think differently about FIV+ cats than they do here in the US. Even knowing how amazing we are, our rescuers knew it would be difficult finding a home there and they worried we might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands. We’re extremely handsome, super sweet, very loving and generally calm kitties, although we do have a playful side too! When we first arrived we immediately came out of our carriers to check out things and say hello. I was a tad bit nervous when I first came out of my carrier but after exploring the room a few times, I began asking for pets. After we had a chance to stretch our legs after our long flight and receive some love, it was time to head to our foster home! Yay! We were excited to greet our foster human and check out our foster home when we got here. We settled in nicely and now we’re having such a great time playing, receiving lots of attention, and finally being able to relax and not worry about the dangers and uncertainties we faced when we lived on the streets. This indoor lifestyle is incredible! We get to play chase and tag, eat lots of yummy food and relax with our human. I like to sit by our human’s feet while Hershey likes the higher spots so it works out purrfectly for everyone. And while we both love receiving attention, especially in the morning, we never compete for it. We’re looking for a home together, preferably with a multi-human family so we can receive extra love and attention. We traveled a long way to find our forever home and are so excited to finally have a family to share our love! Concerned about me being FIV+? There's lots of informative reading material online to free you of any worries. I can live a long healthy life and safely with other cats, meow. Here's one website that offers some important information - Best Friends - FIV FAQs Please note: Cadbury has tested positive for FIV.Cadbury should be adopted with a littermateIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1716966156&src=aap]
