Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Sydney is a 5 year old Flamepoint Siamese and he is the sweetest boy ever. He is vocal, affectionate, and loving. He did test positive for FIV but he is very healthy otherwise. He could join a home with another positive kitty, or he could be your one and only. He has been slowly getting used to the dogs in his current foster home so we think a cat savvy dog as a companion could be an option for him in his forever home as well. He would enjoy a soft bed and cat tree to sleep and lounge on. He would love to cuddle with his new person in bed at night. He is a people kitty, he likes to conversate with you about his day and is eager to hear about yours. He would be a great companion for someone who works from home or is retired as he always loves to be right next to his human. Do you think Sydney could be the guy you've been searching for? He would love to meet you. Apply to adopt this gorgeous blue-eyed boy today. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.July 15, 2024, 9:45 pm

We placed them all together in one of our fabulous foster homes, and they became a perfectly blended little family. They are 12 weeks old now and ready to find their forever homes. They absolutely love each other so if you are looking for a pair of kittens to adopt, they are certainly an option. They are so sweet and fun loving. They could join a home with another cat, cat savvy dog or children. Here are some unique characteristics about each of them. Vlad - He is the biggest of the group and a real looker. His handsome blue eyes are very crossed which makes us smile every time we look at him. He tends to be a little more reserved at first but once he deems you worthy of his trust, he is total lover boy. Vinnie - He is a funny little character, always in everyone's business. He too has beautiful blue eyes and flame point markings that make him extraordinary looking. He is super playful and social. He loves other animals and his humans. Vaughn - This tuxedo boy is a confident little thing. He runs all over the place in search of toy mice to gather up and loves to take a nap on his humans lap when his energy is spent. He would be a great friend for an existing cat in the home as he can hold his own. Vienna - She is a precious little girl with sweet soulful eyes. She gazes at you as though she can read your mind. She is mild natured but confident. She loves everyone and will charm her way into your heart immediately upon meeting her. Vance - He is Vienna's twin; they are so cute together. He has a sparkly personality and is always getting into mischief. His foster mom says he is the most curious of the bunch and super smart. He would love some stimulating interactive toys in his new home and of course don't forget about the cat tree. Vixen - This little cutie has the most adorable leopard spots on her tabby coat. Her name suits her well because she is a little firecracker. Very confident with a side of sass. But ever so sweet and affectionate with her humans. You can't go wrong with this girl. They have bee spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 per kitten or $350 for a pair.July 15, 2024, 9:45 pm

Story
Toronto can be shy at her new home and a bit sensitive to loud noise. However, she only needs a day or two to build trust. Once warmed up, she likes being petted, and following people everywhere. She can be friends with other cats in the household from day 1. She is very calm and gentle when playing with other cats. Toronto was found as a newborn kitten in a backyard in San Jose. She has been raised up as an outdoor cat by the house owner since then. Unfortunately, the house owner couldn't bring her in because he already had four cats indoor. Recently she gave birth to a litter of four kittens, all of which were sent to the local shelter for adoption. After that, the house owner decided to help her to get spayed and find her a forever indoor home. Toronto is very friendly with other cats, including adults and kittens. She does better in a quiet home without much loud noise or many visitors. None Toronto is currently living in Santa Clara, CA 95054 More information & application [ts=1721098963&src=aap]

Story
Sapphire and Boxer are rescues from Modesto. Found outside and in a harmful situation, they had lost 2 of their friends to neighbors who purposely ran them over. A neighbor was alarmed and took them inside to prevent further harm, and reached out to our rescue for help. They were taken into foster care, medically treated, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and finally adopted.....2 years later they were returned to our rescue and now they await their 3rd chance. They have been through some tough times and although they are slow to get acclimated to their new situation, they remain sweet and gentle. Sapphire is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese kitty with piercing blue eyes. She enjoys scratches and cuddles and can be seen with boxer at all times, they truly are a bonded pair! Sapphire will do best in a peaceful environment with a predictable schedule and routine. With patience, love, and consistency, you will see that she is truly and affectionate and loving kitty, she just needs to first feel safe. Although exposed to some dogs, she doesn't care much for them and is okay with gentle children. To apply for Saphire 1) Go to  https://www.kittenrescue101.org/adopt/available-cats and Click "adopt" on the kitten's profile you are interested in. Clicking adopt does not mean that you are adopting this cat. It will take you to an application to fill out which is the first step of the process. 2) If your application is approved, you will receive a call back within 2-3 days with an appointment time slot. We do our best to match the cat to the best environment/family/situation as possible based on the cat's personality and temperament.       ##2004429##

Story
Boxer and Sapphire were rescued from a very dangerous situation in Modesto. They eventually made their way to our rescue where they were medically treated and further socialized. Eventually this beautiful pair were adopted, but now now 2 years later they were returned and their search for a new, forever family began once more.  Boxer is a most handsome boy, he likes to cuddle with Sapphire and wind around your feet for pets. He takes a little while to acclimate to new situations, but once comfortable he is very sweet and loving. He is very much bonded with Sapphire and is seen constantly in her vicinity. They eat, sleep, play and cuddle together most of the time.  Boxer and Sapphire will do best in a home where it's quiet and calm.  Somewhere where their humas are patient and loving and where  they will have the time it will take them to feel safe and able to relax. They have had many changes and been through some very stressful situations and despite all of it they have so much love to give. Could you be that special someone who will open your heart and home to these deserving sweet kitties? To apply for Boxer and Sapphire 1) Go to  https://www.kittenrescue101.org/adopt/available-cats and Click "adopt" on the kitten's profile you are interested in.
