Story
Lollipop is a little sweetheart and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Lollipop was the runt in the litter. She is friendly, loving and smart! She is also a major snuggler! She likes to wrap her head around your neck and nestle in! Lolli is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Being the runt, she always seems to end up on the bottom and she still plays hard and never gets mad! Lolli is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home. Based on puppy weight calculators we think she will be between 25 and 35 lbs. If you would like to add this sweetheart to your family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.

Story
Meet Mitzi! Mitzi is a pint-sized Poodle/Shih Tzu mix with the cutest face and a truly playful soul. She is still learning that the world is a safe place, her resilient spirit shines through when she’s zooming around with her toys. She is a "gentle soul" seeking a quiet, patient home where she can blossom at her own pace. Because Mitzi is still finding her "brave," she’s looking for an adopter who celebrates the little wins—like the very first time she asks for a head scratch or masters a new routine. If you have a calm heart and plenty of room for a tiny shadow to grow in confidence, Mitzi is ready to start her happily-ever-after with you! Mitzie is estimated to be 3 years old and 11 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event. If you are interested in a specific animal, please check our Facebook page for confirmed attendance the morning of the event: https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ You do not need to have a Facebook account to check the Safe Hands Facebook page for attendance. Story
Sweet Margo has a story, wish she could tell us about it! Luckily for her, she was rescued and is now enjoying plenty of cuddle time in a warm house. She is learning to trust. She wags her little tail and curls up next to you, accepting belly rubs (as she deserves!). Margo has eye drops daily to help her cataracts. She is house trained and just wants to be loved. Someone is going to be lucky to adopt this lady. Margo is estimated to be 6 years old and under 15 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💎 Meet Crystal – A Delicate Gem Ready to Shine 💎 At 3 years old and 26 pounds, Crystal is a soft-hearted sweetheart who’s still learning that the world can be kind. Coming from a hoarding situation, she’s understandably shy with new people and experiences. What she needs most isn’t fancy or flashy—it’s patience, gentleness, and time to let her true sparkle emerge. Like her name, Crystal is something rare and beautiful. With a little warmth and a lot of love, she’ll transform from a fragile gem into a radiant, trusting treasure. She’s already showing her softer side (literally)—she’s discovered a deep appreciation for all things cozy: soft blankets, soft pillows, and soft beds. She’s decided that comfort is, in fact, the cat's meow...err, the dog’s bark! 🐾 Crystal does wonderfully with other dogs and would do best having a confident 4 legged sibling to help her fit in and feel comfortable. But cats? Yeah, that’s gonna be a ‘nope’ from her — she prefers friends who bark back She would also do best in a quieter home with no small kiddos, where her person was retired or works from home. Crystal doesn’t ask for much—just a safe home where she can finally rest, heal, and learn that love doesn’t have to be scary. She gives that adorable head tilt when she's pondering something. Once she trusts you, her affection shines through like sunlight through glass—steady, warm, and endlessly pure. She’ll reward your patience tenfold with quiet love, loyalty, and those gentle tail wags that mean everything. If you’re the kind of person who believes that the best treasures take time to reveal their beauty, Crystal is waiting for you. 💖 ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and help this hidden gem find her forever sparkle. ✨

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Parker! Parker is a 2-year-old, 36-pound Labradoodle with a sweet spirit and a smart mind to match. This lovely girl is spayed and crate trained, and she’s almost completely housetrained—she may have a small accident from time to time as she adjusts, but she’s doing great and eager to please. Parker is a bright pup who’s currently learning her basic commands like sit and stay, and she’s picking them up quickly. She loves to play fetch and explore the great outdoors, but because she is Heartworm positive (HW+), Parker is currently on activity restrictions while she undergoes treatment. She is available through The Rescue Crew’s foster-to-adopt program, giving her future family the opportunity to support her through recovery and welcome her officially once she’s healthy. Even with her temporary restrictions, Parker is a wonderful companion. She enjoys quiet time relaxing in her crate or stretching out in a sunny spot on the living room floor. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a fantastic fit for many different types of families. With her loving personality, playful charm, and gentle nature, Parker is ready to find a forever home where she can continue to learn, grow, and share all the affection she has to give. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.    ##2649863##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Honolulu is a tiny, trembling little puff of poodle who is working incredibly hard at being brave in a world that still feels very big and very loud. She’s the kind of dog who watches life from a safe perch—usually the couch—like a quiet spectator trying to learn the rules of a game everyone else already knows. Under her soft curls is a tender heart that desperately wants to trust, but needs time, calm, and consistency before she can take those steps. Right now, Honolulu is a professional observer. She spends most of her day lying in one cozy spot, taking careful notes on the household’s comings and goings. She likes other polite, gentle dogs who don’t invade her personal bubble—bonus points if they’re calm and confident, the kind who can show her that the world isn’t nearly as scary as it seems. Loud noises, sudden movement, busy environments, or any hint of commotion send her scurrying for safety, so her perfect home will be peaceful, predictable, and very patient. Because she is lightning-fast and an escape artist of Olympic caliber, she requires a fully secure 6-foot fenced yard, double leashing, and extremely careful handling. She has slipped out of harnesses and collars before, so her adopter must truly understand the seriousness of keeping her safe. She freezes on leash and is not yet comfortable walking, so yard time is currently her best way to get fresh air. Despite her fears, Honolulu has shown glimmers of what she may become someday. With the right dog buddy by her side, she quietly relaxes a bit. She eats only when no one is watching, so her foster family kindly gives her privacy at mealtimes. She is crate trained, quiet, gentle, and completely non-destructive. And when the home is calm and the pressure is low, she settles into her favorite activity: quietly lounging on the couch, taking comfort in being near—even if not touching—her people. Honolulu isn’t ready to be a typical lap dog, and she may never be the outgoing, social butterfly that some poodles are. But she does want to learn. You can see it in the way she watches other dogs, the way she edges a tiny bit closer each week, the way her tail relaxes when she feels safe. She is trying, in her own delicate way. Her adopter will need patience, gentleness, and a realistic understanding that progress may be slow—and that’s okay. Honolulu doesn’t need perfection. She needs safety. She needs calm. She needs another small, steady dog friend. And she needs someone who sees her not as a project, but as a quiet, sensitive soul who has survived a lot and deserves to bloom at her own pace. If your home is peaceful, your heart is gentle, and you have the time and dedication to help a scared little dog discover life’s softer side, Honolulu might one day trust you enough to show you the tiniest wag of her tail. And in her world, that would be a victory worth celebrating. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Rigel is a gentle, reserved Miniature Poodle who needs time, patience, and the right people to help him shine. He may start out skittish, but once he chooses his person, he becomes a loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than to be close. Rigel tends to feel more comfortable around women and can be unsure of men at first, sometimes barking or growling when he’s nervous. With consistency and calm reassurance, he settles and has even been known to curl up next to his foster dad once he feels safe. Now that he’s gaining confidence, Rigel is beginning to show his playful side. He loves small stuffed toys, nightly chew sessions with bully sticks or pig ears, and cuddling on the couch or in bed. He enjoys being out and about as long as his trusted person is right beside him, and he rides quietly in the car. Rigel does best with another dog in the home—preferably one similar in size—who can help him continue learning how to be a confident house dog. He has lived with cats and done well, and he gets along with most dogs, though he avoids pushy or cantankerous personalities. A fenced yard is important for him, as he loves the freedom to explore safely. Potty training is coming along nicely with a schedule, and he knows cues like “outside” and “go potty.” Crates are not his favorite and he takes time to settle, but he does well when riding in one in the car. Rigel is a sweet, intelligent little dog who blossoms with patience. Once he bonds, he is affectionate, cuddly, and devoted. He will thrive in a calm home with considerate older kids or adults, a gentle canine companion, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to trust. With the right family, Rigel will become the loving, loyal companion he’s meant to be. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hendrix is a sweet, gentle 16&#226&#128&#145pound Poodle experiencing life in a home for the very first time after coming from a breeder—and he’s blossoming beautifully. During his first week, he was quiet and cautious, taking everything in. Now that he feels safe, his personality is shining through: curious, friendly, playful, and eager to explore. He loves going for walks (even in snow and ice!) and enjoys meeting adults, kids, and friendly dogs of all sizes. He has a high energy level and a puppy&#226&#128&#145like enthusiasm for the world, making him a great match for an active home. He especially enjoys tug games with ropes or rags and loves interacting with people and other dogs. He hasn’t fully discovered toys yet, but he’s starting to show interest. Hendrix is mostly paper trained and also goes potty outside. He’s still learning a consistent routine, but with three daily walks he’s doing well. He’s crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows “come” and “wait.” He’s intelligent, eager to please, and very adaptable as he learns what home life is all about. He does have one unique quirk—his right front leg was fractured at some point in his past and healed out of alignment. It doesn’t stop him from enjoying life, but he’s nervous about jumping down from furniture or going down stairs on his own. He’ll need a patient adopter who can help him build confidence and keep him safe. Hendrix is affectionate, even&#226&#128&#145tempered, gentle, and wonderfully sweet. He loves snuggling on the sofa, thrives on attention, and would do well in a home with children and other friendly dogs. He’s a loving, joyful companion who is discovering the world with fresh eyes—and he’s ready to share that journey with his forever family. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Visit this link  www.underdogrescuemn.com/donate   to donate.  (Please note: A Paypal account is not necessary to use Paypal. When you get to the Paypal page, just use the link to the left of their login to make your donation via Paypal without an account.) February 14, 2026, 10:18 am
