Story
I adopted Clovis at PAWS when he was a kitten in 2022. Clovis has always had a thoughtful and healing energy; he seems like an old soul. He is confident, friendly and curious. Clovis gets along very well with other cats, but has not had exposure to many other animals. He has always lived indoors and has led a relatively serene and quiet life. Clovis is a free spirit who would enrich the lives of his family members, but could use some help developing his manners.

Story
Molly is 3-4 years old she’s the sweetest cat she loves to play and sleep on your lap she is a great companion, she’s currently living with another cat and two kids so she is used to sharing a space. I really don’t want to get rid of her but I’m having breathing problems so I can’t have the cat dander and hair around me anymore. I’m looking for someone who will give her a good home and the love she deserves if you do she will give you all the love and attention you can handle

Story
My cat name ish PJ Catterson short for Pterodactyl James Catterson. He was re-homed to me back in February of last year and is about a year and a half old. He loves to fetch and cuddle and apparently open doors. I need to re-home him because my work schedule does not allow me to give him the necessary time and attention he needs.

Story
This 6-year-old sweetheart is looking for a new family for one reason only: we are moving out of the country and heartbreakingly cannot take him with us. We’ve had him since he was a tiny kitten, and he has known nothing but a safe, loving environment his entire life. Because he is so well-loved, he is incredibly trusting and a true social butterfly. He doesn't hide—he loves to be right where the action is, happily keeping you company while you work or relax. He is fully acclimated to house life and prefers the safety and comfort of the indoors. If you’re looking for a confident, loving companion who already knows how to be a loyal best friend, he is ready to meet you!

Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 5-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I have a sweet personality and beautiful green eyes! I was rescued from a California shelter, and then tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. But I'm a healthy boy and I love human attention and affection. I'm a friendly fellow who loves to be held and cuddled. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 7/11/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing the Country Singer Litter - an early 2026 litter of kittens, born about 4/22/26 and surrendered by their owner to our shelter. These five siblings are ready to find their forever homes and are dreaming of the day they get to become beloved family members, YAY! They are easy to tell apart: WAYLON- male, DMH dark tabby with white on paws, chin and sides of nose REBA- female, DMH dark tabby no white on paws PATSY - female, DSH tabby half nose white other half white WILLIE- male, DSH tabby white on face/dark spots on each side of nose MERLE- male, DSH tabby white spot on nose See which picture tugs at your heart while you try to decide if you want to bring one home... or two... or more! They are young enough that they should adapt fine to existing pets, with proper introductions. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $75 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
We adopted Grimm from NOAH in late 2025, and we absolutely adore him. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, he is struggling to adjust to life in our busy multi-pet household. Grimm is a sweet, handsome boy who loves his people, but as he's matured, it has become increasingly clear that he may prefer a quieter home where he doesn't have to compete with other animals for space and resources. We currently have three other cats and two dogs and a rambunctious toddler. We've worked closely with our veterinarian and a cat adoption specialist, and we've tried everything we can think of. Our vet has advised us based on the stress Grimm is displaying it would be in his best interest to find him a new home where he can be the owner of the home not sharing his space with others.
