Story
Jill or “Jilly Bean” has been with us since late winter. She was my mom’s cat. Sadly we lost my mother last year. Jill can be sweet, and can also hiss like a horror movie hellspawn cat. She’s not good with our cat or our dog. She’s safe and healthy here but we feel like she’s not living her best life being relegated to the garage. She’s slowly maybe getting used to our cat but they still aren’t good for each other. Jill is super loving when 1:1, but can also be quick to claws out when she’s had enough pets (there is zero warning) she’s indoor outdoor. Will take down rodents, but is more likely to snag an unsuspecting bird (so be careful around your bird feeders). We will not take her to a shelter but want to explore finding her a good match. I can likely track down her vet records but I don’t have them right now.

Story
Very lovely cat great with children and other pets. He is 4 years old and a joy to be around. I was watching for a friend who got incarcerated and unfortunately they are going to be there longer then expected. I can not keep the cat due to my baby and I being allergic. They friend I have watching the cat can no longer care for the care and we would love him to go to a loving home.

Story
Sina is a 13 month old cat (as of Jul '26). He is a very affectionate cat and LOVES his cuddles. He's energetic and chasing wand toys is his favorite. He really enjoys watching birds out the window and loved having a cat patio. He is a vocal cat and will insist on his playtime if he is bored. He absolutely loves his belly rubs, brushing his head against your hand and giving kisses.Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule I am unable to fulfill his higher play time needs and also cannot give him regular balcony access. I am therefore choosing to re-home him as I know he will be much happier with someone who can provide that for him.

Story
Nyla has been the only kitty in an apartment with me for over six years. I got married in July, and we are moving to Virginia. Nyla is not a big fan of my wife's female adult cat. Moving into together has been rough. I feel she would be best with someone who has no other female indoor cats. She loves to cuddle and snuggle on her own terms. She's playful and vocal.

Story
***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 9/19/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing the Bee Litter! These kittens, born about 4/22/26, arrived with their mama Honey, after spending their first several weeks trying to survive as strays. Right now, they are pretty scared and unsure of what the future holds, but we know as soon as their lucky new families choose them and bring them home, they will quickly realize that humans (and all the baggage that comes with humans) are pretty darn great. They are all quite handleable, just scared and needing a little reassurance. This litter includes: FUZZY - male orange tabby WUZZY - male grey BUZZY - female grey tabby (ADOPTED) We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $70 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
Gizmo is a very sweet boy who needs a quiet, and stress free environment. He has a very anxious temperament so he needs to be on gabapentin daily. He also needs a special diet of wet and dry food because of a history of urinary and gastrointestinal issues. He loves to play fetch with crinkle ball toys, but most of all he enjoys playing with a simple pipe cleaner.
