Hi, my name is Ari and I am from Kentucky! Ari is the sweetest little pup! He has been friendly with everyone he meets. He loves to play with his brothers and toys and he’s always in for a good chew. Ari sleeps in his crate at night and we are working on potty training. I work from home so he is not crated much during the day. He has also gone to work with foster Mom a few days. We took him shopping and he does well in the car and was happy to meet everyone who greeted him. Ari will make a wonderful addition to his forever family.

He’s mostly house trained with a secure fenced yard and is still building confidence with the outdoors and leash walking. Since joining The Bond Between in January, Carl has been on a dedicated healing journey. After receiving plenty of TLC for his skin and ears, Carl underwent comprehensive dental surgery. During the procedure, it was discovered he had a diseased and fractured lower jaw. Fortunately, the fracture was stable on its own, and our veterinary team successfully removed all his diseased teeth to keep him pain-free. Carl's Current Health Status: Dental Care: He has a follow-up with the dentist in early April to ensure his jaw is healing perfectly. Long-term, he will simply need annual dental exams with a primary care veterinarian. Anxiety Support: Carl is currently working through building confidence and may need long term anxiety medication to best thrive as he navigates the world. This brave boy has put his toughest days behind him and is ready to find a forever home where he can be pampered!

She’s an incredibly affectionate, cuddly little girl who wants nothing more than to be close to her human. She gets along well with other small dogs, though she doesn’t rely on them for comfort — she’s truly a “people dog” who prefers her human over canine company. I weigh around 5 pounds.  I have a little bit of a medical situation that requires some special care, but my foster family says I’m worth it. I have been diagnosed with protein-losing enteropathy (PLE), which means I need to follow a special veterinary prescription diet and eat 3-4 times a day. I also need B12 injections every 2-4 weeks, which I take like a champ. Because I don't have any teeth, I can only eat soft food (my prescription food is a yummy wet food), and I may need a face clean-up after each meal. I'll need to stay on my special diet and keep getting these injections for the rest of my life, but it doesn’t stop me from being the sweetest dog ever! So beyond my medical issues – I need you to know that I LOVE snuggling! My favorite thing in the world is to curl up on a heated blanket and snuggle with my foster parents and my little foster brother. I’m super attached to my foster mom and always want to be in her lap or in her arms! I am still learning how to be a dog, and I copy my foster brother's behavior (good and bad!). I get anxious when I’m left alone, so I need another small, mellow dog in the home for company. Another dog will give me confidence and learn to trust people. I get a little worried around new people. The commotion that comes with kids tends to scare me and I might nip. I really prefer grown up humans.  There are other dog things that I am working on. I don’t like being in a kennel. It scares me, and I will cry until I’m let out, so I’ll need help and patience learning about the crate. We are also working on leash training and potty training, but brrrrr, it is so cold outside, so I haven’t practiced much. I do require a fenced yard in my forever home since I am not leash trained. Despite my little quirks, I am the absolute best snuggler ever. I could snuggle all day long and be completely happy. I sleep a lot and, once I bond with you, I’ll be one of the most loyal companions you could ever ask for.
