Snapshot of Chocolate: Size? Small Activity Level? Medium Noise Level? Low, he barks sometimes when outside Good with Dogs? Yes Good with Cats? Yes Good with Kids? Unknown Good with Strangers? Potty Trained? Mostly Crate Trained? Yes Shedding? Low About Chocolate: Hi, my name is Chocolate. I can easily get my zoomies out by zipping around the backyard.  I’m curious about the cats in the house but am respectful if they don’t want to play. I’ve gotten along with other dogs in my previous foster home. While I’m mostly potty trained, my signals can be subtle and result in the occasional accident if missed. I love being close to my people, either sitting on their lap, giving endless kisses, or taking a nap while splayed across them. I’m a curious dog and like to sniff around and explore with humans, dogs or cats. Sometimes I can get scared and bark at others walking by but I go back to exploring before you know it. I think I would do well in a household where I can run around outside for a little bit then go sleep with either the other pets or on someone’s lap. I might need a little more attention than some but I promise I’ll make it up with all the love and attention you deserve. Chocolate is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. History: Smores is a super handsome boy who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with his smile and happy personality. He has his paws crossed to find his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi, I'm Smores, I'm little at 7lbs. I came to live with my foster family in mid June. I have so many friends to play with 2 are even kitties. My favorite thing to do is to sit with my mom in her chair or on the sofa. I'm learning to go outside to do my business. I learned how to go up the stairs, but going down still scares me! I went to the Dr. the other day, I'm blind in my left eye, but I don't let that stop me! I get to go back to the doctor on September 3rd to get neutered and my teeth cleaned. I'm such a happy little guy that my foster mom calls me Prancer cause I don't walk I prance!

History: Groot is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: He loves playtime, naps during the day, and sleeps through the night. He is getting used to his crate but prefers to be snuggled to somebody. He’s been well behaved with the cats and with children too. He is doing well with potty training when taken out regularly but does not like the cold weather.

Story
History: Tot is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Meet Tot – The 4.8-Pound Peanut With Big Dreams and Even Bigger Confidence! If you’re looking for a tiny pup with a big heart for adventure, look no further. At just 5 months old and 4.8 pounds, Tot is a Yorkie who lives life like he’s auditioning for “Puppy Ninja Warrior.” He may be pocket-sized, but he’s absolutely convinced he can leap off couches, climb playpen walls, and keep up with dogs twice (or three times!) his size. But don’t worry—this brave little peanut also has a soft, sweet side and just needs a family willing to supervise some of his more “creative” ideas. What’s to Love About This Tiny Adventurer: • Great with kids (and all kinds of people)– He loves just about anyone! Just know that he may not realize when he’s about to get hurt… he has zero fear and 100% confidence, so an adult may need to help the kids keep him safe. • Crate training champ-in-progress – He just started to sleep all night in his crate with no accidents and not wake anyone up. He also handled a workday in his crate like a pro, especially with his resident dog buddy crated nearby and calming dog music playing. • Potty progress – He’s copying the resident dog and showing he knows exactly where the pee pad is and what it’s for. • Grooming superstar – Bath, nail trim, face trim—he handled a full home grooming session without a single complaint. • Energy level – Short bursts of running, cute little hops, toy play, and then lots of sniffing and exploring. He’s independent, but… • A snuggler who wants to be near his people – When he’s done adventuring, he likes to rest close to his people and dog friends. Five feet away? Too far. One foot away? Perfect. He also loves being held. • Sleep sounds and tiny tongue alert – He makes the most adorable, unique little noises in his sleep and when he whines. And sometimes his tiny tongue sticks out, which just adds to his charm. • Car-ride approved – He rides well and takes travel in stride. Also due to his young age, he will greatly benefit from a basic obedience course. In fact, this is required for all dogs younger than 2 years old. Who He’s Looking For: A family who loves a confident, silly, fearless pup—and who can gently steer him away from his “I can totally climb that!” decisions. He’s easy-going, sweet, and fun, but he’s still learning the limits of his tiny body and needs a home ready to keep him safe while he grows. If you want a small dog — and you’re ready for endless entertainment, cuddles, and charm—Tot might just be your perfect match.

Story
History: Goldy is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Goldy is a quiet, sweet-natured girl who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She came to us in rough shape, and while she’s made progress, she’s still adjusting and will need a calm, patient family to help her continue to build confidence. Goldy does well with other small dogs and is also cat-friendly. She’s not a fan of fast movements and can be skittish, so a home without children is best. She’s learning to walk on a leash, though she sometimes prefers to choose her own direction. She’s not currently crate-trained and prefers to sleep on the couch. She’s working on house training and does go outside, but still has accidents indoors. Goldy thrives when she can be near her person and is happiest just quietly shadowing you around the house. She’s not high-energy and doesn’t need a lot of activity—just time, understanding, and a safe space to continue healing. If you’re someone who can offer consistency, patience, and a quiet environment, Goldy could be the perfect companion for you.
