Dumpling is an adorable, affectionate, and easygoing companion. He likes to cuddle close with his foster mom, and gets along great with all other animals as well as respectful children. He has fun playing with toys and romping around with the small, younger dogs in his foster home. He walks well on leash and redirects with treats when he gets excited and vocal about other dogs on leash. Dumpling is crate trained and doing well with house training on a consistent schedule. He was just recently neutered so working on breaking the habit of marking, but he's already making great progress. His forever family could consider having him wear a belly band just in case, which is working well with verbal redirection in his foster home. His family will also commit to continuing to apply an eye ointment to his right eye, which has limited vision - he handles it like a pro and isn't negatively impacted by that vision loss at this time. This darling boy is ready to find his forever home and bring never-ending joy to all he meets! Fitz is coming up on 5 months old and currently weights just shy of 10 pounds. We aren't sure if he is a full Yorkie or maybe has a little of something else mixed in there since he is a little bigger than the typical Yorkie. All we know is he is the most adorable, sweet, adventurous boy! Fitz LOVES other dogs! He would be happiest with another playful dog in his home but also can learn to be independent and play with his humans too. He currently lives with two older small dogs and is respectful of corrections and interacts perfectly with them. Fitz also LOVES to be outside exploring the world. He is so hilarious when he runs like a wild man in his fenced yard and will require one in his forever home in order to provide the best success with potty training. He has made excellent progress with his potty training skills when going out in his fenced yard on a schedule. He will master it in no time! He is currently nervous on leash around new things like cars or loud noises but loves going on leashed hikes and exploring with this foster brothers. My favorite thing to do is to sit with my mom in her chair or on the sofa. I'm learning to go outside to do my business. I learned how to go up the stairs, but going down still scares me! I went to the Dr. the other day, I'm blind in my left eye, but I don't let that stop me! I get to go back to the doctor on September 3rd to get neutered and my teeth cleaned. History: Alpaca arrived to rescue with long yorkie hair but as soon as we picked him up and felt him, we could feel the devastating matting across his whole body. It broke our hearts to see and feel how badly his hair was matted- it must have been so uncomfortable but yet Alpaca is so kind. He is feeling better each day and would make a wonderful companion for a lucky home of his very own soon! A Note from the Foster: 🐾 Meet Alpaca 💖 an 18-month-old sweet and affectionate guy. They say I’m a Yorkie, but my foster mom thinks I could be a schnorkie—part Yorkie and part Schnauzer. Maybe it’s my new haircut? I’m not sure, but I am 16 lbs of total cuteness. I am still learning to trust. When I first got to my foster home, I was shut down and afraid of loud noises and sudden movements; however, I still get frightened, and my first instinct is to run away and find a way out. But my foster parents stay close by and help me feel safe. I sleep in my crate at night and haven’t had an accident in there yet. I patiently wait in my crate for my foster parents to take me outside for my morning potty break. Afterward, it’s playtime! I live with a 70-pound Pitbull, but we don’t play; instead, we respect each other’s space. I’m doing ok on a slip lead waking around the yard. I’m going to need more practice learning how to go for a walk. I don’t have a big appetite; I take my time and eat throughout the day, with more of an appetite in the evening. My foster parents simply keep food in my bowl. I only like dry kibble and some tasty treats. I love getting pets, and sometimes I like to cuddle with my foster mom. And sometimes I like to chill on my own. I’m still unsure of my foster Dad and new people, but I’m sure I’ll overcome that in time. I’m certain that once I gain a clearer understanding of the world, I’ll become your best friend, and cuddles will be our cherished pastime.

History: Diamond is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi there! My name is Diamond, but my foster mom likes to call me her princess. I spent the first seven years of my life at a bad breeding situation down south. I am not sure how I got so lucky to get out of there, but I sure am thankful to have found myself in Minnesota! My new hobbies include going on walks, sitting outside in this really plush stuff I think is called grass, following my new dog siblings around, and chewing on stuffed animals and bones.
