Story
We are fostering Ellie for a family that lost their home and had to relocate where they were not able to take their dogs. We have had Ellie for about 2 months now and she has proven to be a very good little girl. She is totally housebroken, comes when called, great for the bath, is fantastic in the car and sleeps in her crate throughout the night as long as she can see you. She does need help with socialization with people she does not know, so we have been taking her everywhere we go in order to get her used to strangers. We have two big dogs and a cat, however I feel that she would love to be either in a one dog family or have another small dog to play with. She loves fetch, and to nap next to you on the couch. She gets along great with my Newfoundland who is a male. I am hoping to find her the perfect home with an attentive, loving family that will spend time with her. She will not do well being left alone for long periods of time throughout the day. Ellie is 6 years old.

Story
Meet Loveable Loki! Loki is a 7-year-old yorkie mix who weighs 15 lbs. This super handsome gray and white boy has fur as soft and luxurious as silk. Best of all, Loki's soft fur does not shed, so you can keep wearing your black clothes! Loki was surrendered to Critter Cavalry because his owner could no longer afford to care for him after moving from Florida to Tennessee. Unfortunately, Loki developed allergies and needed daily medication. Since joining Critter Cavalry, he has seen a dermatologist, and it turns out he does have allergies. Thankfully, these are now well-managed with quality food, one pill, and regular grooming. His last grooming appointment showed no signs of allergies at all, and a change of location from Tennessee should also help. You won’t find a more lovable companion than Loki. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and will happily leap into the lap of anyone sitting down. He simply wants to be near you, whether on the couch or in your chair. Make sure there’s always room for him at night, as he’ll snuggle up close before you know it. Loki also adores the company of other small dogs and thrives in a home with multiple pets; he definitely is not a lone ranger! He is housebroken and can be left loose in the house. While he isn’t a fan of car rides, he loves going for walks and happily trots ahead of you down the street. Loki thrives on routine and organization, making him an excellent companion for a middle-aged couple with one or two other dogs. Although he hasn’t been around children, he should do well with kids over 8 who understand how to treat pets properly. Loki is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped. If you would like to be considered for Loki's forever family and request an adoption application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com. Note that an approved application and adoption fee are required.June 7, 2025, 12:30 pm

Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Bruno is available for adoption. He is 8 years old and weighs 11 lbs His adoption fee is $600.00.   Meet Bruno, an 8-year-old, 11 lb. Morkie (Yorkie & Maltese mix) who is eager to find his forever home! Don't let his age fool you because Bruno has plenty of energy. He loves to play, but it comes in short spurts.    Bruno's favorite time of day is his daily walk with his foster parents where he stops to see all of his new neighbors. He has mastered walking on a leash and does not get distracted by other people or dogs. Bruno's forever family will need to provide him with daily exercise, whether it is going for a walk around the neighborhood or running around in a fenced yard. Once he takes his walk and burns off his energy, Bruno is a pretty lazy and chill guy. He will quietly sleep on the couch with his foster Mom while she reads a book or watch Phillies games with his foster Dad.  He does great when left alone and sleeps through the night without any issues. Bruno is doing exceptional with potty breaks, even letting his foster Mom know when he needs to go outside. He has improved significantly with asking for table food and is starting to understand his efforts are not fruitful. Used to being the only dog in the house, Bruno is perfectly content by himself. However, he has met other dogs and would be fine in a home that already has a furry friend for him to hang out with.  Bruno will be available for adoption in late June after his veterinary care is complete. If you’re looking for a housemate that is the perfect mix of energetic and laid back, Bruno is your guy! Bruno is staying with Sarah and Matt in Reading, PA. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Tortellini is available for adoption. She is 4 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $800.00. Tortellini is a 4 yr old, 7 lb little Yorkie girl. With energy to spare, she attacks each day as a gift she can fully enjoy. Having been a stray at one point in her life, it’s as if she really appreciates what she has now. Just 6 weeks since her car accident pre-fostering, she is all healed.  She eats with gusto, is pee pad trained (but still loves to go outside to potty), she loves to play with toys, loves to romp around with our two other SAY rescues and will jump into your lap whether you’re ready or not.  Tortellini is a mountain goat on the furniture and pretty much fearless while balancing on the back of the couch.  She sleeps in a small enclosure and is quiet through the night. Grooming is a challenge since she will immediately roll on her back when the brush comes out… but eventually lets you finish.  She is wary of new people and will bark quite loudly until a friendly hand is offered… then all is well.  She is very interested in the other dogs’ dishes but has been warned off numerous times by our male Yorkie so we hope she’s getting the message.  Tortellini will probably be fine as an only dog or in a multi-dog environment.  She walks well on a leash.  We are awaiting an indication as to her spay status since the vet’s can’t tell.  Tortellini is staying with Mary Anne and Michael in New Canaan, CT.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 29, 2025, 11:35 pm

Her adoption fee is $900.00.Daphne is a beautiful 9 pound girl who was rescued from a not so nice situation.  She spent most of her day crated with little human interaction.  Daphne is learning to trust humans and how to be a dog.  Daphne is looking for a quieter home with a person who likes to snuggle, play, and take walks.  She is doing well on her potty manners and will sleep snuggled in at bedtime.  Once her eyes are open she is ready to spend the day with her people!  She is doing well with my 6 pack but she would thrive as an only pup as well.  Daphne needs someone patient and willing to prove to her that all humans are not bad.  Are you that person? Daphne is waiting for you! Daphne is staying with Susan in Ulysses, PA Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2025, 9:58 am
