Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a 4-year-old, 22 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who was found as a stray in CA and is currently in a foster home. She is shy and skittish, and it will take some time to win her heart. She can be nervous and does not enjoy long car rides or new places. She is potty trained/house trained. She is a happy dog with lots of energy. She is very smart and playful with other dogs. She would love to have another dog in the home. She could possibly be an only dog but she would need a home where someone is home most of the time. She is extremely smart but has a sense of independence. She's stubborn and will listen when she's ready. She is a high flight risk since she won't come on command. She is quick and will dart out an open door and can be an escape artist. Due to her tendency to run, we are looking for a home for her within a 10-mile radius of the Edmonds area. We are looking for an adult only home for her with no children or grandchildren. She is spayed and microchipped. She's up to date on vaccination, and her fee is $550.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Welcome Cricket! She is an extremely shy, sweet, 5 ½ month old, 8 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who is looking for a quiet, patient home that is full of love. Cricket is a sweet dog who has been through a lot in her short life and is very shut down. She will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell and feel comfortable in a new environment. She would do best in a quiet, standalone home outside of the city with a with a securely fenced yard as she can be a flight risk. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no children. She does well with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with other dogs. While can live well in a home with other dogs but she could also be fine as an only dog soaking up all of the love and attention. Cricket is working on potty training in her foster home and is pad trained. She will need grooming to keep her coat in good condition. She is quiet and well-behaved and will make a great companion for the right person or family. She has a lot of love to give and is just looking for the right person to give it to. Cricket is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Paleta is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix and Tartufo is about 8 years old, and neither has had the easiest go of it, but their lives have already changed for the better, and they are excited knowing their lives are only going to keep getting better and better! Paleta and Tartufo are working on gaining their confidence and are looking for a quiet home where they can blossom at their own paces. Paleta and Tartufo lived with other dogs before, but we aren't sure how they got along. However, they love each other very much! We don't know if they've ever lived with cats. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Paleta and Tartufo will do best in a quiet, predictable home with just dog-experienced adults. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Banjo – A Spirited Soul with a Story to Tell DOB: ~August 23, 2022 | Weight: 21.6 lbs | Adoption Fee: $400 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org Look at that happy face—Banjo is a character through and through! This little guy is full of charm, always up for some time in the play yard, and never says no to attention from his favorite volunteers. He’s friendly, social, and has a big personality packed into a compact body. Banjo’s story hasn’t been an easy one. After being found on the streets and fully vetted by our team, we searched for his owners for months. Just as he was about to be adopted, his previous owners came forward. Sadly, a year later, Banjo was found on the streets again, and we were called to take him back into our care. His former owners, currently without stable housing, agreed it was best that Banjo find a safe, secure forever home. Due to past food insecurity, Banjo can be food-aggressive with other dogs. He’s shown no aggression toward people and does well with small dogs, but may be a bit pushy with larger ones. With a bit of patience and structure, Banjo has all the potential to thrive. He would love to be an only dog to one person.  Banjo is now safe, healthy, and ready for a brighter future. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s ready to be truly home for good, Banjo could be your perfect match. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 3:05 pm

Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Popcorn is about 18 lbs., 15 years old and according to Google lens, a West highland terrier. Animal Care Services thought he was a Maltese mix and foster mom thinks he could be a Schnauzer/Maltese mix but knows for sure that he is the cutest scruffy EVER! His journey hasn't been all snuggles and treats as he lived on someone's apartment patio for years, lying in poop, grass and other debris until Animal Care Services came for him and God's Dogs Rescue was able to save the little scamp. While he still loves his humans, other gentle pups his size (cats unknown) and his squishy toys and chewy, understandably he has a few emotional scars especially regarding vet visits and grooming. Slow, patient progress in these areas has helped him be more confident, but will need a patient adopter to help him adapt. Things that make Popcorn super happy are spending time with his humans after he gets to know them, car rides and walks in the park. He loves, loves his squishy toys and generally carries one around with him. His most favorite game is for his person to chase him and pretend to take his squishy away. He also like to run zooms and if there isn't a person to play with he will often throw his toys for himself. Doesn't that just make you want to throw his stuffies so he can play?? He's a healthy guy for his age with just a few old man issues (beginnings of cataracts) that he takes supplements for and should continue taking. His liver enzymes were high when tested but he is on a med to help them normalize. Can you give this boy the right lap to live in?? He needs very patient/knowledgeable adopters, no children- adult only because he will bite if afraid... It is a work in progress but he is becoming the goofy boy he was meant to be while living on the nasty hot and freezing porch for most of his 14 yrs :( GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
