Story
Granita is eager to start his next chapter! Granita is looking for a quiet, adult only, dog experienced home where he can build his confidence. He is hoping his new people will give him all the time he needs to settle in, and spend time with him from a slight distance, giving him yummy treats (Granita loves food!), and helping to build trust. Granita lived with other dogs before and did okay, but we don't know if he's ever met cats. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. If you'd like to open up your heart and home to this sweet guy, make an adoption appointment to learn more about him today!

Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a beautiful 6-year-old, 22 lb Yorkie Terrier with a bright, active mind. She’s shy and skittish at first, and it will take patience and understanding to win her trust — but once you do, you’ll see her happy, energetic personality shine. She can be nervous in new environments and does not enjoy long car rides or unfamiliar places. Lilianna thrives on routine and feels safest in a calm, predictable home. We are looking for a home for her in a quiet neighborhood. She would not be a good candidate for apartment, condo or city living. Personality & Traits • Very smart and quick to learn • Playful and social with other dogs • Loves being at home and near her person • Fully potty/house trained • Happy and energetic once comfortable • Independent and a little stubborn — she listens when she’s ready! Lilianna would truly love to have another confident dog in the home. She enjoys canine companionship and gains comfort from having a furry friend around. Important Safety Notes Lilianna is a high flight risk. She does not reliably come when called and is very quick. She can dart out an open door and has the potential to be an escape artist. Because of this, she will require: • A secure home environment in a quiet suburban neighborhood outside of the city • A standalone home, no apartments or condos • Extra caution with doors and gates • A patient adopter committed to her safety • A home within 10 miles of Edmonds, WA Ideal Home Lilianna is looking for: • An adult-only home (no children or visiting grandchildren) • A calm, predictable environment • Someone who is home much of the time • Preferably another friendly dog She needs a patient adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. With patience, consistency, and a secure home, Lilianna will reward you with loyalty, personality, and devotion. Lilianna is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sprout: The Tiny Lightning Bolt! If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a Yorkie mix stuck his paw in an electric outlet, look no further. Sprout is here to show you exactly what "permanent bedhead" and "infinite energy" look like! Born around July 28, 2024, this 17.8-pound wire-haired wonder isn't just a dog—he’s a fuzzy, four-legged battery that never needs recharging. The Sprout Experience The Energizer Bunny: Sprout doesn't really "walk"—he vibrates from point A to point B. He is constantly on the move and ready for the next adventure, game of fetch, or zoomie session. The Wiggle Worm: Trying to hold Sprout? Good luck! He’s made of 50% Yorkie and 50% cooked spaghetti. He’s a professional squirmer who would much rather be playing than sitting still for a formal portrait. His "Off" Switch: Even the most high-voltage pups need a break. When Sprout finally hits 0%, he knows exactly what to do. He heads straight to his kennel—his ultimate safe spot—to power down for his next round of fun. Is Your Family Sprout-Proof? Sprout is looking for a high-energy "pack" that can keep up with his pace. If you love long walks, active play sessions, and a dog that keeps you on your toes, Sprout is your guy!  If so, you can apply for him at www.adoggie4you.org.  He weighs 17.8 pounds and his adoption fee is $400. "I don't need a morning coffee—I am the morning coffee." — Sprout This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be Transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
**If you`re interested in meeting, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet and we will be in touch to schedule an appointment**Herman is an 11-pound Yorkie mix with a big personality and just a touch of attitude, making him a memorable little character. He’s opinionated in the most charming way and keeps his kennel impressively tidy here at the shelter. Full of energy, Herman will thrive in a dog-savvy home with older children who can respect his need for space. He enjoys being the center of attention and can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so he may be happiest as your one-and-only companion. Like many Yorkies, he’ll need regular grooming to stay healthy and looking his best. Herman is ready to bring sass, spirit, and affection to the right home.
