Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a beautiful 6-year-old, 22 lb Yorkie Terrier with a bright, active mind. She’s shy and skittish at first, and it will take patience and understanding to win her trust — but once you do, you’ll see her happy, energetic personality shine. She can be nervous in new environments and does not enjoy long car rides or unfamiliar places. Lilianna thrives on routine and feels safest in a calm, predictable home. We are looking for a home for her in a quiet neighborhood. She would not be a good candidate for apartment, condo or city living. Personality & Traits • Very smart and quick to learn • Playful and social with other dogs • Loves being at home and near her person • Fully potty/house trained • Happy and energetic once comfortable • Independent and a little stubborn — she listens when she’s ready! Lilianna would truly love to have another confident dog in the home. She enjoys canine companionship and gains comfort from having a furry friend around. Important Safety Notes Lilianna is a high flight risk. She does not reliably come when called and is very quick. She can dart out an open door and has the potential to be an escape artist. Because of this, she will require: • A secure home environment in a quiet suburban neighborhood outside of the city • A standalone home, no apartments or condos • Extra caution with doors and gates • A patient adopter committed to her safety Ideal Home Lilianna is looking for: • An adult-only home (no children or visiting grandchildren) • A calm, predictable environment • Someone who is home much of the time • Preferably another friendly dog She needs a patient adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. With patience, consistency, and a secure home, Lilianna will reward you with loyalty, personality, and devotion. Lilianna is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Stampeed Diner will find you wherever you are in the house, settle down next to you, and at some point- we can only assume when the moment feels right- she’ll boop your nose with her nose. We’re pretty sure it means she appreciates your company. She does it on her own schedule and cannot be rushed. She's sweet, snuggly, and social, but in a calm way. She’s still a little timid around fast movements and unexpected sounds, but is warming up more every day. She walks well on a leash, does great with baths and brushing, has been around a cat without issue, and rides in the car like a pro. She'd do best with dog-savvy kids and a patient family that appreciates a dog who shows affection on her own terms...and craves surprise nose boops. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Puppy Love has a…specific approach to affection: she’ll ignore you completely, sneak up when you least expect it, lick your arm once, and immediately retreat. It’s her thing, k? She's gentle, kind, independent, and cautious (she prefers to come to you rather than the other way around). She does great with another small dog, a big dog, and a cat who ignores her. She's been bathed and handled without any fuss, rides well in the car, and seems to like being carried. The leash, however, is a firm “no” for now. She will sit down and decline to participate. But hey, you can’t win them all, right? Puppy Love is ready for a quiet retirement with a patient person who will give her a warm spot, consistent kindness, and the space to decide on her own timeline that this is home. -----

Story
Oso and Moon Pie are a bonded pair on the search for their new home - together! Both Oso and Moon Pie are cute as can be, full of personality, and eager to start the next chapter. They hope it's full of walks in the sunshine, toys, treats, and cuddles from their humans. Oso and Moon Pie may do okay with other mellow dogs, but we don't know if they've ever met cats. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Oso and Moon Pie can be nervous with new people and new situations, so they will likely do best in a calm, predictable home with just teens and adults. If you're ready to welcome home this precious pair, make an adoption appointment to meet them today!

Story
Berry is a little dog with a big personality! Berry is playful, spunky, and adores going for walks, playing with toys, and being around his people. Berry can be selective about new friends, so he's looking for experienced adopters who can help continue working on his manners with positive reinforcement and patience. Berry is looking for an adult only home with no other pets, and he is not a fit for an apartment or condo. If you're ready to open up your heart and home to this pup, reach out to us to learn more about him! *Berry has a slightly longer adoption process than our other dogs.
