Story
`Meet Cali ??Cali is a 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with the gentlest soul. This sweet girl is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her loving nature truly shines.Cali was a breeding mama who was recently released, and she’s just beginning to learn what it means to be a cherished family member. She’s discovering how to go potty outside, what it’s like to relax in a cozy home, and how wonderful kindness can be.Because of her past, Cali would do best in a patient home that understands she’s still learning. She would thrive with another confident dog to help show her the ropes and a fenced yard where she can safely explore at her own pace.If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and room for a little Yorkie who deserves the very best chapter of her life, Cali may be your girl. ??Apply to adopt and give this deserving mama the forever home she’s been waiting for.www.nbstr.org `

Story
Teddy is a fun, energetic puppy. I’ve had him since he was 4 months and unfortunately haven’t been able to get him house trained as far as going to the potty. He definitely needs someone who can have patience and train him. He is somewhat pad trained but thats a hit or miss. He doesn’t bite and I do have a cat. For the most part they get along well but Teddy thinks the cat is a dog so they tend to go at each other. Teddy is 10 months old

Story
Our sweet 5-year-old Yorkie is looking for a new home where he can get the time and attention he deserves. He is fully potty trained, very loving, and enjoys being around people who will play with him. He may bark at strangers at first, but once he gets a chance to sniff you and warm up, he quickly becomes your best friend. He truly is a sweetheart who just loves attention and companionship. He would do best with someone who has the time to play with him and give him lots of love. This decision wasn’t easy, but we want to make sure he finds a home where he can be happy and get the attention he deserves. If you think you could give him a great home, please reach out. 🐶💙

But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on May 1st and arrive on May 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 3/28/26 Dog Name: Cartier Sex: Male Estimated Breed: YorkiePoo Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 18-20 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: Cartier and his friends Harry Winston & Tiffany were found in horrible condition. Their hair was terribly matted, they were hungry and scared. These little babies are sweet after they warm up. They are friendly and smart and happy to be saved! They are opening up well and showing their cute little personalities. He does well with other dogs and respectful kids! They need a loving family to continue showing them about the good life!  Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. April 10, 2026, 1:33 am
