Please go slow with her—once she trusts you, her true personality starts to shine. She knows her basic commands and wants so badly to be a good girl. Shelby would do best as the only dog in the home and prefers older children, as younger kids can make her anxious. The shelter environment is scary for her, and she’s overwhelmed right now—but in a quiet, loving home, she blossoms. Once she’s comfortable, Shelby is incredibly affectionate and will happily cuddle up and become your loyal protector and best friend. He’d love an active home where he can go on adventures, play tug-of-war, and crash hard after a day of fun. Doc is a sweet boy who just loves his people. He just loves to be loved and loves to love you right back. Unfortunately, my husband and I have separated and I'm not sure where I will end up. I will not be able to take him with me. Wherever Doc winds up needs to have space for him to run. He is a fence hopper and he is quick so anytime he is outside he has to be on a leash and is just not fair to him. He also likes to pee a lot and house training has been a bit of a struggle. >
