Story
Meet Stella Rose, We bred our PURE American bullies and in May 2023 Stella was born. She was adopted in September 2023 but was returned to us in Feb 2024 because the guy lost his house. She is a gorgeous American (pocket) Bully. She is very playful and loves to be loved on. She’s great with kids and eager to please (very trainable). This dog is smart. So smart I’m considering changing her diet to fresh food. She is show dog material. We have been house training and she takes to it very well. She enjoys other dogs and has a lot of energy. We are busy people and never intended to have multiple dogs. We love Stella, but a family with more time and attention will serve her better. Don’t let this champion dog go to a shelter.

Story
Mona is a loving and intelligent mother who was picked up as a stray while carrying 11 puppies in her belly. She gave birth 11/4/23 and her pups have all been adopted out through Good Karma Puppy Rescue. She's been spayed, and now she's looking for her forever home. She's done very well at picking up behaviors like sit, down, touch, and shown great tolerance to the nail grinder and being handled. She's met at least 10 children so far (a couple of which are pretty rough) and has demonstrated she's very gentle and tolerant. While she's great with her puppies but hasn't gotten much exposure to other dogs for a while. She's shown signs of aggression to unknown dogs so caution should be taken when introducing her. She's food motivated, will roll right over for belly scratches, and loves walks and cuddling on the couch

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet Joyous, aka Joy, a lovely girl whose father is an American Bulldog mix and mother is a Colby Red Nose Pit Bull.  This sweet girl was born 9 days before Christmas in 2015 and weighs about 65 pounds.  She is an absolute delight to be around and loves to play and cuddle. Joy is very social and does well with other dogs and kids of all ages.  She is well-behaved and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come.  She is also housebroken and crate trained, although she would prefer not to be crated, making her a breeze to care for. One of Joy’s best qualities is that she is an excellent walking companion.  She walks great on leash, never pulling or getting distracted by other dogs or people.  She is also very active and loves to run and play, so having a fenced-in yard would be ideal for her. Did I mention she loves to play ball? Joy is looking for a family who will give her all the love and attention she deserves.  She will make a loyal and loving companion, always eager to please and cuddle up with her people.  If you’re looking for a sweet dog who will bring joy to your life, Joyous just might be the perfect fit! For more information or questions, email Tim at tmb611@msn.com.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. April 26, 2024, 9:40 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Nash is a big love bug! He loves to get petted and cuddle. He is still very much a pup so he is a bit mouthy but is working on his manners. His knows some basic commands like sit, wait, stay and high five. He is house broken and crate trained. He is very quite in his crate and really in general. Nash is not a big barker. He loves to run around the yard, play with his toys and chew bones. He doesn't chew things that don't belong to him. He is very eager to please and is a really happy boy.  We believe Nash would do best in a home with no small children because he is a strong mouthy pup that still needs to learn some manners. He will also need to be in a home without cats.Nash comes with a free training package and is also a candidate for our foster to adopt program. If you are interested in meeting, fostering or adopting please fill out an online application.
